🔶KTM DUKE 125 2018 🔶 BRAND NEW FROM JUST £3199

User

been buying and using craigs for years, always really happy to help and i feel they work hard to make sure they get the best deal they can. Fantastic well stocked showroom as well, clearly run by bike enthusiasts with customer service at heart.

Test rode the new KTM 790 DUKE and I must say I’m very impressed, That noise even from the standard exhaust had a nice throaty sound to it. The different modes to throttle response is epic, you can really tell the difference. The dash has even thing a rider could need on such a beast. The suspension it’s awesome and the brakes at like dropping an anchor. Never been on a bike that made me smile so much. Think I’m gonna have to test ride it’s big brother soon the 1290 superduke

User

Really helpful and enjoyed the ktm experience so much so I am back next week

User

User

Purchased a brand new KTM RC125 (superb starter bike) over the phone/email and had the bike delivered to me. All sorted within a week without any issues. Top service from all the guys there! Cheers

User

Just bought a bike from these and really impressed I bought a Yamaha yz125 and love not only that I rang jack who I have been dealing with yesterday and said i wanted it delivered today if possible and with his delivery driver busy he did it off his own back after his working hours. When I buy anything from them now I hope to deal with him as he has been brilliant throughout this short period of time

User

I've just bought a 1290 Superduke from Craigs and the whole process was a pleasure. It's good to deal with a family business who clearly enjoy what they do. The bike is awesome, so I just need to get 600 miles on it, get the service done and enjoy it before the gritters hit the roads.

User

Been today. Saw Alex great customer service. Bought the bike and took away same day

Definitely be back

User

An excellent experience from start to finish - bought a 2nd hand bike without even seeing it but the bike turned out to be exactly as described; such low mileage it couldn't help but be mint. Sensibly priced too, but the customer service received was always perfect and I could tell from the phone conversations I had nothing to worry about ;)

Recently purchased a 2013 Ktm sxf250, was a little disappointed at first with a couple of issues that weren’t picked up on by the workshop. Chain was slack, the frame had a snapped engine mounting bracket and the rear shock was goosed.

But, in all good faith communication was good between myself and the guys at Craig’s, they happily took the bike back and resolved the issues, also fitted a new rear shock to the bike as good will. So after all I am a satisfied customer. Was just a shame the workshop let these bits pass the eye as all bikes are supposed to be fully checked and prepped before sale. But again, issues were resolved and was also offered any service item or bike gear at the cost of trade which was a happy ending to the story.

Thank you for the bike guys.

Was sold a kxf 450 last year got ripped off!!had to spend thousands on it to get it sorted.avoid this place at all cost.not even rode it 30 hours since buyin it and had nothin but trouble.had to take bike back twice because off faults when it stated it had been checked over by there mechanics which was bullshit.set of tossers over phone arrogant twats!

User

Paid deposit for bike and told it typically takes 2 weeks to road register it.

Collected the new bike 18th March, and was told it typically takes 4 weeks (doubled once they had my money) to register it, got it home (~120 mile round trip) and realised they'd not given me the tools nor manual (partially my fault as i was so excited to get the bike, so forgot to ask, not that i should have had to) Had to go back and collect.

They sent the paperwork for registration 24th March, but after 3,4 and 5 weeks of patiently waiting (chomping at the bit to ride the bike) and checking with the DVLA i was told the registration application was declined as Craigs motorcycles had not sent the certificate of newness with the application.

Obviously very frustrated, i called craigs to find out what they were going to do to sort this.

Instead of being apologetic and having empathy for their customer, and reassuring their customer that everything will be done to rectify the situation, they were very defensive stating the DVLA was in the wrong and that they'd already paid once for the application, and telling me my attitude was bad for blaming them for the screw up.

I then shared my experience with the 3 TRF groups i recently joined and was astounded to hear a stream of similar experiences, having had exactly the same issue with craigs and one guy got his logbook for his WHITE Honda after 8 weeks if badgering, only to find it was Registered as RED!

Clearly a lack of attention to detail some where.

As i stand today, I do not know if Craigs are now dragging their heels in protest of having to now to solve my situation, or actively doing all they can to rectify the situation.

Mean while I have ferrys booked for the TT end of May..,,

In summary, the worst new vehicle purchase experience i've had in 25+ yrs of motoring.

User

Ordered a new radiator, parts lad asked me what reg and make and model of bike was. Radiator came wrong and had to pay 20% restocking fee to send it back. Was then asked for my vin number to get right part but by then I had sorted it and got one elsewhere. Not helpful at all and their mistake cost me over £30. Person I spoke to on the phone stated they can only get parts based on the information I give them about my bike? My argument is they're the parts specialist and they should ask the relevant information if unsure. Poor service!

User

Having taken my bike to Craigs to have fork seals done, I was not very impressed.

They put wrong fork oil in and were not too bothered about it.

They put the same rusty metal clip back in and didn't clean the area which was the problem in the 1st place.

Less the than 6 months later and the seal has gone again.

So took elsewhere, and the to say the work Craigs had done is shocking is an understatement.

They by the looks of things have knocked the oil seal in with a screw driver, so the seal is bent, and the top of the fork leg has similar cuts in the metal, like they have missed, then they looked to have glued the dust seal down.

They according to another motorcycle garage had not put equal amount of oil in the forks.

Todays lesson for me and anyone else out there is, check all work done by Craigs and anyone else.

I would not slate anyone if not deserved, so this is not me being a sod, but just be careful when having work done here.
