Here at Cruse Bereavement Care in Leeds, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to people who have been challenging themselves to raise money for our service - from 24h challenges to giving up alcohol to collections at work to walking miles and miles. “Just want to say a massive thank you to all at Cruse who have been so kind and thoughtful. (My bereavement support volunteer) has been amazing. I cannot thank them enough for listening about my amazing wonderful mum. I now see a light at the end of a very dark tunnel. Thank you once again from the bottom of my heart.”

Volunteers and staff attended some fantastic Trans Awareness training last night from Dr Kit Heyam. We welcome people of all identities to Cruse, but to make sure we are expressing that as well as we can we are going to make some small changes - for example adding our pronouns to our staff profiles on the website and changing the gender labels on our forms from 'male, female and trans' to 'male, female and other'.

Personalised decorations - A lovely way to remember our loved ones who have died. This doesn't have to be expensive. In our office we have written names and messages on card stars and hung them on our tree.
