We are frequent visitors to Cucina and I have left a 5*review of the establishment before on Trip Advisor, however, after visiting yesterday for afternoon tea I feel the need to review again. The afternoon tea is simply delicious, well on par with those in expensive city centre hotels and restaurants.



There was a great selection of sandwiches and sweet treats, all using local ingredients and presented beautifully. Sometimes for afternoon tea you are given so many wedges of dry cake to just 'bulk out' the cake stand, but not here, it was a great mix of sweet and savoury with varying breads and deserts. Smoked salmon and prawns were an extra special addition!



I could not fault the staff or the service. Everyone was very friendly and polite. If you haven't visited here yet, you must. Try the afternoon tea you will not be dissapointed, it would also be the perfect way to treat family or friends over the Christmas period. Lovely surroundings in the heart of Morley.



I will defiantly be back with my friends who are also loyal customers. Well done Cucina on your afternoon tea delight!

Visited Friday 7th with couple of friends. The service was fab, thank you to Tom!! The food was gorgeous, especially the prawn cocktail, which isn't on the menu, my friend fancied one and Tom, offered to ask chef.. And he obliged. We actually ordered two and they were very tasty and for a started massive!! Thank you team cuccina! X

Three of us went for Sunday lunch - the food was excellent and tasted home made. The roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings were the best we have tasted in any restaurant. The staff were attentive and friendly. We will definitely be going back with quality like that it’s not worth cooking at home. Thank you to everyone at cucina xx

The Sunday lunch was gorgeous and the roast potatoes well they were superb all of our party said never had roasties like them before, compliments to the chef. The staff and service and atmosphere brilliant, will definately be returning.

Tapas were amazing and the service outstanding. Would definitely recommend and go back again.

Loved the tapas on the terrace night. We got the offer of 3 tapas and bottle of wine for £20.00 The garlic prawns were to die for!! We will be making this a regular Sunday night thing throughout the summer.

Love this place, never disappoints whether you're stopping for a coffee in the day or a bite for lunch, drinks in the evening, a meal with friends or nice dinner for two. Somehow they manage to cater perfectly for all manor of different occasions, food always excellent and service with a smile.

Ive just started eating the Vegan way.....As I looked down the menu I struggled to find anything Vegan. I asked at the counter if they had any recommendations to which the lady brought their chef who happily threw me together a vegan mushroom risotto which was very nice indeed. The cafe/bar was very busy at the time so I would just like to express my gratitude for accommodating my request. I always eat at this restaurant whenever I'm in Morley it's my favourite place. The toilet revamp looks fab too!

For my mums birthday I paid for myself and her to have afternoon tea. Whilst booking I asked if they could also sort an afternoon tea for my 8 yr old daughter so we could have a girly day. I was told they had never done a child's afternoon tea but would happily sort something. Well they stuck to their word. Much to my daughters delight there were a selection of sandwiches, cheese, tuna and ham. Carrot and celery sticks, an apple sliced thinly, Then she had strawberry mouse and chocolate brownies just like ours and a gingerbread man and a tiny pot of haribo. All washed down with a soft drink! She was very very full. Myself and my mum were equally impressed with pur selection of traditional and european sandwiches. Accompanied with a wide variety of desserts. A fab time was had by all and fantastic value for money.

Been going here for many years and always have a great time, had a bit of an issue last night but was sorted out immediately by the owner, will definitely continue to come here and the knowledge that the owner genuinely cares makes a massive difference

We have frequented cucina restaurant on a few occasions and never been disappointed,very friendly and attentive staff and great atmosphere. Would recommend it to all my friends and family.

Service was good. Sunday lunch is a fab offer they have on. We had the roast dinner and a wee dessert afterwards. Tried the Mulberry Gin with tonic and it was just yummy. Will be returning for our xmas party soon 🖒

Visited as part of a party using the upstairs function room. Good space as function space is a bit limited in Morley for a small group circa 30+. Food options very good and management happy to help with arrangements etc. The main reason for the ok rating is that the bar set up upstairs is not ideal as any draught drinks had to be sent for downstairs as only bottles and spirits available in function room. Sorry but it did become a chore. Very warm also.

Spent a lovely couple of hours on Saturday afternoon two weeks ago on the terrace with friends. After a few drinks we decided we'd order a few nibbles to share. A couple of us fancied sharing some sweet potato fries amongst other things, but we were told we couldn't have them as they were only available inside. We found this really hard to believe so the waitress said she would go to ask the chef and came back with the same answer - "sweet potato fries cannot be served outside" we could have potato fries of the non sweet variety though! The mind boggles! I'm intrigued to know what will happen to them if they are carried across the threshold to the terrace? Do they explode? Do they turn soggy and shrivel up? What a ridiculous rule.

I've been going to this place for years and I have always enjoyed good food and a civilised drink. I visited the place recently for the tapas on the terrace night. The food was just ok but I much prefer Palaco for a more authentic tapas experience. The place is starting to look really tired and I hope it doesnt get pushed out when the new bars open up in Morley. Cucinas has been in for Morley for years and I hope it can get back to what it was always good at, Good quality food and drink, entertaining live events and stylish interior. 3 out of 5
