It appears that all fabrics are not equal. Here’s the finished blind looking all serene and butter wouldn’t melty but there “may” have been a cross word or two getting this slippery linen to conform! Interlined to give it more structure and stab stitched to within an inch of its life!

Some really lovely fabric choices have been coming my way recently. These @lauraashleyuk blackout blinds put the finishing touch to a beautiful master bedroom.
Throwback to almost a year ago when I squeezed 12 of the funniest girls I know round my kitchen table for a big birthday celebration. My Anna Hayman Designs blinds may have stolen the show, I might have had to use lining fabric as a table cloth and I definitely drank too many @kaleraver gin shots! Janelawsonloves made me the most fantastic cake and @mizzknits rocked up with all her fabulous chunky knits, a night that I will remember always. No pastels in this playroom, out with the old sea of pink and in with the new. I might not have any skirting boards yet but at least I’ve got some lovely interlined, hand pleated curtains eh! Not sure what else my girls could possibly want for Christmas!

Four customer visits already this morning can only mean that the Christmas countdown has begun! Almost fully booked until 2019 now so a huge thank you for all the orders. I’ve been measuring for lots of big bay windows where it’s important to work with the proportions of the room. These bold, full length curtains made recently added great impact to a large, period living room. Fantastic to see them up and hanging.

Wow!! The blinds are up (having gone two years living in a gold fish bowl!) and I love them! Working with Hilary was a breeze. She popped round and over a cuppa we chatted fabrics, I finally decided on one. Hilary then suggested a fantastic fabric website where I was able to purchase the fabric at a fraction of the price you'd find on the high street. She then created the blinds and even suggested Nigel, a local handyman to come and fit them!! Couldn't be happier, and I thoroughly recommend Hilary. (Can I also add that she even made me a few cushions with the spare fabric!! Such a talent, thank you �)

Hilary made me some fantastic blackout blinds for my children's bedrooms. She made it a 'seamless' process from start to finish by collecting my chosen material and delivering my blinds after only a couple of weeks. Thank you!
Hilary is a fantastic curtain maker. She has done four of our rooms which included huge bays and patio doors. She also recommended someone to fit the rails. All look amazing !
