8 Years ago today 💖 28th February 2011 - the day I joined Slimming World ❤️ I joined because I had a holiday on the 9th September that year and refused to feel how I’d forever felt on holidays ✋🏼 I lost just over 3 1/2 Stone for that holiday and it was the first time in my life that I started to feel how I actually wanted to feel and wear all the Summer clothes I’d aspired to wear ☺️ I then went on to hit my Target of losing just short of 5 Stone and I have been at Target sin...ce 25th March 2013 💪🏼We are conditioned to hate and criticise ourselves....well I’m not ashamed to say that I am bloody proud of myself 🙌🏼 I deserve to be 💕 I get asked a lot “well how did you do it and how do you stay there?” Have a goal, put all the amazing Free Foods First, go to group and gain the tools and expertise you will need to equip yourself in the tougher times. I wouldn’t be able to maintain if I hadn’t learned from the tough times - get rid of the guilt, leave the beating stick behind and see only learning curves ✨ My aim was to get into the mindset of a slim, healthy person who has never had a weight problem....they don’t think, agonise, and over-analyse like we do, and I was jealous of that. It can take time for it to feel like an intrinsic lifestyle change but I’d like to think I’ve pretty much cracked the right balance now ☺️ I love doing the job I do to enable others to think and achieve the same 💪🏼 Come along and achieve your dreams at Dane Royd School every Thursday at 5pm & 7pm

I always love Asda even more when they’re giving out free samples on the end of an aisle 😛 And me being me, I really can’t pass on a Panettone 😍 even when I’m wearing my Slimming World hoodie and someone comes up to you and goes “oooooh you can’t be eating that can you....” and I’m like “well yes actually, yes I can” 💁🏼‍♀️☺️
