Late night RANT 😤
Went out to a job earlier that had been installed by a Local installer (Craig Hunter Plumbing & Heating)
He charged the customer around £3,500 for this installation. It’s a fair price if the work was done well but you don’t have to be an expert to see that this is dog rough (and it’s not even the worst i’ve seen) The boiler has a 10 Year Warranty which will be Void if Ideal Boilers ever have to visit.
... I’ve never met the installer but I know he’s local and advertises locally so bare in mind when you’re looking and do a bit of research in to who you’re hiring. This guy came recommended 🙈
If someone recommends ANY Plumber/Gas Engineer don’t just take that as they know what they’re doing. Browse their page, look at their installs and read customer reviews because I see it over and over people recommending guys who are crap either because they are a friend or someone they know.
I’m not just promoting our company here but we do an excellent job and have a great reputation with a solid workload, there are a couple of other good local companies who we pass work on to when we’re too busy but there are also bad ones.
Do your RESEARCH and stop giving bad installers work !

Here’s the completed pictures of a job we have just handed over. We have done the entire house from scratch so every single pipe, fitting and fixture is new.
Originally the bathroom was really small with some awkward cupboards in the hallway and after some thought we came up with the idea of taking them out, extending the bathroom and a design on how to fit a full size bath and walk in shower in without it being cramped. Both us and the customer are really pleased with the o...utcome.
We also had the task of fitting a separate toilet and basin in the hallway but due to size restrictions the only way to do this was a combined WC and Basin.
We installed a full central heating system and Combi Boiler (Ideal Logic MAX) with Ideal System Filter and the Ideal Touch Smart Thermostat and fitted 7 new radiators and a heated towel rail in the bathroom.
We first fixed and second fixed all the kitchen plumbing and installed a new outside tap
Last but not least we installed a new gas feed, fire place and gas fire which looked very nice when done.
This job was carried out for a repeat customer of ours and i’m certain that it’s done well enough to book our place on their next project 😀

Old Worcester Bosch Combi removed from an upstairs cupboard and replaced with a new Intergas Combi, completely repiped and controlled with Honeywell T6R Smart Control. It will be all hidden when the kitchen has been plastered and kitchen fitted and boiler housing fitted 🤩

3 years ago today we fitted our first Ideal VOGUE combi boiler 😀 Since then we have fitted hundreds and had only 1 or 2 minor issues.

This firm came out to mend my boiler. Totally honest I'd turned a switch wrong that was all. So gave it a service anyway. I recommended to my sister and they fit her a new boiler at very short notice between Xmas & new year so noone would go cold in the house. Lovely honest lads competitive prices.

Cannot recommened their services enough. After making the phone call Paul came within the hour to make a diagnosis. He didn't have the part but went out of his way to contact somesomeone who would have and then came approx 30 mins later and completed the job. Highly recommended tradesman, very professional and he new exactly what he was doing and what the problem was.

Cannot recommend these lads highly enough, we had been let down by another plumber, and were left with no bath and toilet without a cistern. They fit our job in quickly. Even though there were a few problems, with our old plumbing, they carried on untill finished, even coming back after tiler had been and finishing off, doing a fab job, also fitting new radiators in the lounge. Just wish I had known about this company before I started, wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again for any plumbing jobs. Thanks lads, a great job very reasonable priced....

Cannot recommend them highly enough. We've just moved into our new house and the water & heating weren't working. Paul and Mark came round within a few hours of calling them, condemned my boiler (argh) and made my house SAFE. Two days later we had a lovely new Ideal combi boiler and lots of hot water. The guys are polite, honest, professional and very competitively priced, as well as clearly being very skilled tradesmen. Paul even took the time to fix my washing machine (it took him 30 seconds to sort what we had been looking at for 3 hours). Will 100% be using them again. Thank you so much!!! :)

Cannot recommened their services enough. After making the phone call Paul came within the hour to make a diagnosis. He didn't have the part but went out of his way to contact somesomeone who would have and then came approx 30 mins later and completed the job. Highly recommended tradesman, very professional and he new exactly what he was doing and what the problem was.

Cannot recommend these lads highly enough, we had been let down by another plumber, and were left with no bath and toilet without a cistern. They fit our job in quickly. Even though there were a few problems, with our old plumbing, they carried on untill finished, even coming back after tiler had been and finishing off, doing a fab job, also fitting new radiators in the lounge. Just wish I had known about this company before I started, wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again for any plumbing jobs. Thanks lads, a great job very reasonable priced....

Cannot recommend them highly enough. We've just moved into our new house and the water & heating weren't working. Paul and Mark came round within a few hours of calling them, condemned my boiler (argh) and made my house SAFE. Two days later we had a lovely new Ideal combi boiler and lots of hot water. The guys are polite, honest, professional and very competitively priced, as well as clearly being very skilled tradesmen. Paul even took the time to fix my washing machine (it took him 30 seconds to sort what we had been looking at for 3 hours). Will 100% be using them again. Thank you so much!!! :)

Boiler packed in, I have 3 kids and bad snow for days. After waiting hours for my estate agent to get back to me I messaged this guy through facebook hoping he could help me and within ten mins my boiler is back up and running! Great guy and really appreciated the advice he gave me. 5*****

After being recommended by three different people sent these guys a message ( on a Sunday morning ) wasn't disappointed by the service received they came out and managed to fix and service an old back boiler saving me £££'s by not needing a new one.Will defiantly use again when needed.

This firm came out to mend my boiler. Totally honest I'd turned a switch wrong that was all. So gave it a service anyway. I recommended to my sister and they fit her a new boiler at very short notice between Xmas & new year so noone would go cold in the house. Lovely honest lads competitive prices.

Paul was very accommodating with days and times for servicing my mums boiler whilst she was in hospital, times and day to suit me.
