Taking the first steps to counselling can be difficult but worth it. At low times we believe that change is not possible but with the right counselling support, change does happen. Accessing counselling help is a sign in itself that you are beginning to find the strength you need to make the most of your life.

I am a fully qualified counsellor offering you a warm, confidential approach, using therapies tailored to your particular needs, whether they be short or long-term. I trained in integrative, relational therapy which means that we would be working very much together on the issues that bring you to counselling. I believe in helping you to tap into the strength you already have and develop in ways that empower you to maintain the improvement you gain via therapy. When working with you, I would be considering approaches including Person-centred, Transactional Analysis, CBT and Solution Focused Therapy.

I have worked with clients bringing a variety of issues, some with complex needs. Being in counselling and engaging together has enabled clients to have a much more positive view of themselves, improved relationships and family life, lowered anxiety and depression.

It is very important that you are comfortable with your counsellor so an initial appointment is at half the usual session cost so you can explore if we can work well together.
