Now the clocks have gone forward, the days are getting longer! Make the most of it and spend your days on the marina enjoying BBQS, fishing and fun in the sun ☀️

We hope all our moorers had a great Christmas and are settling into the new year! Now that the Christmas period is over, office hours resume as normal.

Tonight's the night, expect fireworks, raffle prizes and Peters homemade Chilli! Make sure you all wrap up warm and have your wellies at the ready! 💥🎉🌟🔥

IT is a lovely hot weekend here. The marina is mostly empty as a flotilla of boats have gone out for the weekend to a hostelry not too far away as part of the White Rose Boat Club Social events. Some of our boaters are using this as a kick start to their summer holidays afloat. We wish them well in their adventures.

We hope to see all our regular faces down at FHM now the weather is improving, as well as new! Please feel free to call into the office if you have any questions or you just want a nice cup of tea!

Its a sad day today as we lose our number 1 onsite tea and coffee maker! We wish Jessica the very best on her travels to the French Alps! We will make sure the kitchen is ready for you when you return in 5 months!

To say its winter, the weather this afternoon is very mild. Why not take the opportunity to visit the marina and enjoy the weather before the snow comes! As always feel free to drop in for a cuppa!

So Friday went a bit like this ....... All alone am I, or, one Man went to mow

We've been here almost twelve months and found it a lovely and friendly place to be .

We went with our camera club, Wendy was lovely, really friendly, generous and helpful!

Such a lovely place with lovely staff! X

Spent our first boating season at Fairies hill and its fantastic, love the place, the people & the wildlife.. everyone makes you feel so welcome, and as a new boater I have had lots of help & advice from the people there.

Our narrow boat decided to cut out right next to Fairies Hill Moorings! Wendy, Peter and one of the other gents at the moorings came to our rescue. We cannot thank them enough for helping us and putting us and our craft up over night, then fetching an engineer to take a look at the problem with the boat the next day.

Can't imagine where we would have ended up drifting to if it hadn't been for them, and our poor friend that was stranded on the banking was so relieved to be back with us on board again. Thank you so much!

It's very nice place and friendly people. I'm grateful for hospitality and heartily accept. They'll stay in my memory for ever.
