About Fairy Bricks
Dedicated to placing LEGO into the hands of sick children.
Fairy Bricks Description
We love LEGO. We love even more the effect it can have in making children feel better who are hospitalised. The value of play on recovery cannot be underestimated.
Using our knowledge of LEGO products and working direct with hospital play teams we aim to provide sets that they actually need.
Everyone involved is a volunteer to ensure as much money as possible is spent on making children happy and not administration.
No cash donations are made. Using our network of friends we secure the very best deals.

Our Irish donation tour has come to an end.
This morning we visited three separate hospitals in Dublin and Daenerys is now empty. Thankfully we had Alan with us today to help navigate the tricky Dublin streets!
Throughout Ireland we have given away sets worth €40,000 and it has been an absolute pleasure to be here.
... Special thanks to the Fennell family. Not only did they help us with the donations, but they managed to put up with us for two nights in their home and have sent us back with white pudding!
Thank you Ireland, we will see you soon!

Wednesday and still in Ireland!
Today we were joined by David Fennell from the Irish LEGO User Group Brick.ie. He really helped with the trickier translations ;-)
We visited Port Laoise, Limerick and Cork with our final stops scheduled for Dublin tomorrow. As with every donation on this trip, the reception has been fantastic and we will be sad to leave.
Our Irish tour continued today!
Visits to Antrim, Ulster, Belfast, Craigavon and Newry in the north before we crossed the border to donate sets to Drogheda and Kilmore.
More donations tomorrow when we will joined by a special guest!
Irish eyes are smiling!
After an early morning crossing, the boys are off to a fantastic start on their donation tour of Ireland!
Stops in Coleraine, Derry and Omagh were done today with plenty more to come in the rest of the week.
... We received the warmest of welcomes in all three places so huge thanks to the staff.

One for Fortnite fans!
Not quite home but the van boys are almost there!
Fantastic visits to Plymouth, Torbay, Exeter, Taunton, Weston Super Mare and Hereford!
Big hand for Floss (pictured far right) for her visit to the Rhyl Children's Unit yesterday. Assisted by the evergreen Robert, they delivered £1600 of sets.
Floss recently hosted a LEGO event in Rhyl and donated all the proceeds so a huge thank you for that to!
Apologies for being so quiet. We had to get back from Denmark!
The bike boys are safely home and resting. Meanwhile the van boys decided to extend their trip a little to visit hospitals in Portsmouth, Southampton, Poole and Dorchester. Perhaps there will be more deliveries tomorrow.......
We did it!

The bike boys are away! They are on their final ride into Billund. They have picked up a couple of special guests to cycle with them, not the van boys!
#bikestobillund
The bike boys are safely tucked up in bed before a very early start and the final ride into Billund.
If you see them on the road be sure to give them and wave and then a huge cheer when they arrive at the LEGO House!
Bikes boys and van boys in Denmark!
Crossing the border on the bikes and our first Danish donation in Aabenraa.

Thank you FairyBricks for donating a Lego set after my sons operation! Amazing charity work and much appreciated
Really loved Bricktastic this weekend. Very well organised, great selection of displays, activities for kids and stalls and some amazing Lego masterpieces! We all loved the robots and the mosaic.
My youngest boy aged 5 had an accident Sunday it was serious and my older 2 (8 and 10) were witnessing their baby brother in a/e surrounded my many Drs responding to a trauma call my husband was trying his best to hold it together , some support staff at the hospital took my little boys to oneside and gave them a set of Lego to build. This successfully took their mind off the situation and allowed us to concentrate on our youngest the boys were over the moon and spent all weekend building it ready for their little brother coming home. Thank you such a wonderful idea xx
My son was admitted to hospital 5 days ago and although he is improving slowly, his Sunday was made so much better when the play specialist gave him a box of Lego to make up.
At the moment its only half done as he tires easily but is displayed proudly behind his bed.
My son was a VERY grateful recipient of a box of Lego donated by Fairy Bricks. It bought a huge smile to a very poorly boy and that is priceless!! Thank you so much for what you do, such a great idea.
My little man was rewarded with a gift from a donation from your team. Thanks for putting a smile on my sons face x
Met fairy bricks at i62 spent most of my weekend there with my partner playing with Lego and honestly the team were lovely.they gave my son some Lego for his birthday and made a safe space for us to build Lego while my son was in his wheelchair.me and my partner have decided we want to raise money for this charity ASAP!!
Met a few of you on Saturday in Sunderland , great idea, great charity, but most of all great fun!! Thankyou! Special thanks to those who made a space so we could use your table;-)
Having great fun at bricks live. Great charity keep up the good work :-)
Had the pleasure of meeting the Fairy Bricks team at Brick Live in Birmingham yesterday. Thoroughly wonderful group of people doing all they can to bring a smile to children's faces! They certainly did with my daughter. As a tradition we always buy my mum a fridge magnet from every day out we go on. Yesterday we searched high and low round the Lego exhibition but could not find a magnet to take home anywhere. By chance we asked on the Fairy Bricks stall, a lovely man with a friendly smile told us if we had a go of the tombola he would see what he could do. We were delighted when he handed my daughter a pack of 3 Lego bricks that had magnets on them. Might not seem much to many people, but to us it meant everything as we build our memory collection. Unfortunately I didn't catch the man's name, but he made my daughter's day more special. Please please do all you can to back this wonderful organisation!!
