Stewart has worked in the Financial Services industry for over 25 years starting his career within the Personal Finance division of a Merchant Bank. His early achievements culminated in senior management and directorship roles in leading Mortgage and Insurance companies. More recently, after a period as an Independent Financial Advisor, he specialised in the Mortgage and Protection market through his own company First Rate Mortgage Services which he established in 2001. Following seven years independence the company became an Appointed Representative of Countrywide Mortgage Services in order to develop Estate Agency Introductions throughout Yorkshire.

First Rate Mortgage Services now returns to offering independent 'Whole of Market' advice through its new joint venture with Morgan Financial Solutions Ltd. Stewart and his associates will continue to offer top quality advice and administration services to both new and existing independent estate agency connections and private clients. First Rate Mortgage Services has developed access to many exclusive product offerings in mortgages and associated services which are not currently available to the public thereby guaranteeing very competitive solutions for all personal circumstances.

First Rate Mortgage Services as independent brokers charge for its advice in two ways - we can simply receive and retain commission from the lender or charge a flat fee [typically 1% of the advance (min £995)] then refund to you any commission received. For mortgage cases we also charge a Mortgage Administration Fee of £299 but only after successful completion - this covers the ancillary costs associated in organising your new mortgage.
