We are all set for FUN in the SUN this weekend with a record number of dressage entries!!! We love it when it’s busy as it all adds to the fantastic Foxes atmosphere we love providing!
We have some great opportunities for you to learn more about dressage by writing for one of our dressage judges or by stewarding for our showing judges!!
Dressage writers: ... Friday: 12.20pm - 3pm 3pm - 5.20pm 5.20pm - 7.50pm
Saturday 8am - 12 noon 2pm - 4pm (approx)
Dressage writers receive a bottle of wine and are fed and watered throughout!
Monday showing steward 9.45am onwards. A chance to assist the judge and find out what they are looking for in each class! Stewards will receive £15 and lunch!

HOW TO QUALIFY FOR STARS Champion of Champions
... STARS – Showing Teams and Rising Stars Champion of Champions. 19th & 20th October 2019 at Aintree This is an AMAZING SHOW and foxes came 3rd out of 60 clubs last Oct 2018! This year we want to do better  We need quality combinations to join Foxes Membership this year to qualify so we can win  How to qualify:
you have to be a Foxes Riding School Showing Member 2019
qualification will be taken from points accrued over the season which give rise to your Champion, Reserve or 2nd reserve for each class listed above. Should they be unable to attend the STARS finals then we can offer the place to the reserve, followed by the 2nd reserve. Only the exhibitors/animals are eligible for qualification. Foxes will send the results after the final show in Sept then STARS will post a golden ticket to the competitor that has qualified.
an exhibit may compete in more than one section at the Championships providing that they meet the criteria above for each section.
No change of combination of horse/pony rider/handler is permitted from that which qualified through Foxes. Should any horse/pony be sold before this competition takes place the qualification will be offered to the next eligible exhibit (res,/2nd res)
no horse/pony can compete at STARS if they have qualified for HOYS in the current year
You have to attend at least 4 of Foxes 6 shows this year

what a lovely venue :) despite the heat my son had a lovely morning at Foxes dressage competition. Anna is lovely and very helpful and the event ran very smoothly. we will definitely be back soon.

Super competition venue The riding school may have closed but such a lovely competition venue now. Great surface on both the indoor and outdoor arenas. Really friendly people. Very well run. Definitely going back very soon for more dressageing ����xx

Really enjoyed my first competition in 2 years at Foxes yesterday, very friendly and good to know someone will call for you if needed, will certainly be back.

My horse twisted a shoe at the show yesterday just as we were about to go into the ring. Thank you to the riding school staff for quickly finding me a pair of pullers to get his shoe off so it didn't cause him any damage.

Just started riding back here after having my children and Annie is an amazing instructor - have enjoyed every lesson and been made to feel so comfortable and I come away more confident after each lesson. My eldest girl had her first walk out yesterday for her 4th birthday and was an absolute pleasure to see how much she loved it - cannot wait to book another lesson for her. Thank you to all your staff.

Just had a cracking jump lesson with Tony French. I learned a lot and the facilities are excellent with good surfaces in the indoor and outdoor schools. Easy to park and get to. Loo, food and drink all available. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Recommended.

I've been riding at foxes for about a month and a half now and ever since I have had lessons here my confidence has boosted when riding horses and I'm more willing to do things on a horse than I ever was!!! I've ridden at two other riding schools before foxes and I have to say foxes is just the best Thankyou for welcoming me to your riding school so nicely can't wait for my next lesson now!!! Xxxxxx

I have ridden for many years and many different horses but recently was only hacking out. I decided I wanted to have some lessons again to get back to doing a bit more and riding properly. I found Foxes purely due to location and was randomly allocated Annie when I booked a private lesson. Annie is absolutely fab, really knowledgeable and experienced instructor with many different exercises. She delivers a structured lesson aimed at anything you want to work towards - flatwork or jumping. I have been going for a few months now and definitely feel like I'm remembering how to ride correctly and enjoying every minute of it. The riding school has some lovely horses and many of them talented and experienced which is great for the more advanced rider to practice advanced movements.

I had my first riding lesson in 10 yrs on Sunday on the wonderful linford. can't believe how much I've missed have lessons. Daisy was amazing and really boosted my confidence. can't wait for my next lesson this Sunday

I booked my daughters 5th birthday party for 8 friends here would deffo recommend something different for her they had a girl on each horse guideing them which made them feel secure and the lady didnt get her name was fab doing little races with them and they got to go for a walk out with them and they loved the little rosette prize for each one at the end these were brillant with them and hired the little room for an hour so they could have a bite to eat would deffo do it again well done foxes school xx

Foxes is an amazing place. Whether you are a beginner or an old hand at riding this is the place to go ! The staff are all so very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Anna's enthusiasm for the equestrian disciplines is contagious. Her support, encouragement and knowledge is guiding me down the merry path to achieving my goals.

I would recommend without hesitation to anyone looking for riding tuition or a competition venue. Thank you to all at Foxes 😀

Foxes competition centre is a fantastic venue for all spheres of equine activities. It is run by Anna Davey who is dedicated in making your visit a great one. Catering for you and your horse as well as providing 5� judges, training clinic and one on one with your own horse lessons to support your own individual goals.

First lesson here in about 5 years this morning and it was brilliant. Clare was great, very patient with all my bad habits and I learnt more in half an hour than I did in months worth of lessons in my old riding school.

Fantastic riding school. My daughter has only been here 3 months and has come on so much. Ev is such a fantastic instructor and is so encouraging, thank you so much, you have given so much to each lesson. �

Could not recommend foxes enough, all staff and instructors are so professional and lovely. Could not be happier. Thank you xxx

Fantastic riding school. My brilliant riding instructor Julie Hawe is so calm, patient and encouraging and tonight it was great when I cantered on Linford who is 17.3hh! Thanks Jules xx

Brought my 4 year old to the Young/Nervous Horse clinic with Anna yesterday. Absolutely brilliant clinic, loved working with Anna and we got a huge amount out of it. I can’t wait for the next one! Thanks, Anna �

Both horse Maisie & instructor John are so patient with me (a middle aged adult underconfident who has never ridden before & barely knows one end of horse from the other) ..... making progress in small steps but feel huge strides..... if looking for somewhere to learn to ride at your pace... this is the place

As a competitor attending events here for many years, this venue is the best for all levels, excellent and well ran BD and unaffiliated dressage, showing and clinics. Always professional and friendly staff and judges, with a welcoming atmosphere. I would highly recommend Anna’s young nervous Horse clinic’s theses have helped us enormously. Thank you, we always look forward to attending your events.
