We will be doing it on a Sunday from now on! Roast sirloin of beef, home made onion gravy, Yorkshire puddings and roast vegetables! ... Served by the man himself at your table! Look forward to seeing you all soon!

The Sunday roast is having a summer holiday. Tomorrow is the last Sunday roast till September, returning on September the 2nd (Franco Snr birthday!)

You’ll be pleased to hear the gentleman in question couldn’t stay away (much to or delight after his message), however after being given the opportunity to apologise, he remained his rude self, told me to get over myself and as such we didn’t serve him. Thanks but no thanks.

We visited for the first time last night to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and couldn't have felt more welcome! The food was delicious, massive portions (we ended up coming home with a doggy bag!) All the staff were so friendly and welcoming, it was great to meet Franco, his son and the other waiters/waitresses. What a gem of a place, we'll be back again soon!

Myself and my partner have just been to Franco's tonight with her 4 year old boy. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and really great with the young one. And the food was just amazing. I had ribs for starter which was delicious and the main meal I had steak. I've never eaten a stake so tender, juicy and mouth watering in all my life.



By far the best stake I have ever eaten.



Thank you for an amazing meal and evening



We will certainly be visiting again.

Just came home from a girls night out having dinner here. First of all I've never been a Italian food fan, but out of the four of us we have a pregnant lady who wanted Italian



My sister's has been here and I've seen the food pics and it's always liked nice



Restaurant looks great and cosy. Great atmosphere...Not quiet but not noisy. You can definately have a great laugh with your friends here if your noisy like us



Our waiter... Bil Bil (? Sorry I have a bad memory for names) certainly looked after us and checked up on us every so often and had a great friendly customer service



We ordered a range of starters and mains



Wow ... What can I say



I have been converted to Italian food!! Not any Italian food but Franco's



Scallops cooked just right, pasta great taste and size lots of pancetta... And the steak tartare!! Amazing...Highly recommend



Mains also was huge portion size... They certainly don't skimp here



Another request was made for the vongole. No problem at all



The lobster risotto... Wow, tasted just like a authentic paella from Spain



Again lots of seafood in our meals



We topped off our evening with dessert



My only feedback is that we all felt the creme brulee was too heavy /dense (wasn't as smooth as we expect it to be) maybe a little more cream in the mixture could give it a more smooth texture

A wonderful proper family run restaurant who treat you as one of their own. Amazing real Italian restaurant non of your American Italian rubbish. For the amount of food you get the prices are very reasonable. I often take home my left overs and have them for lunch next day.

We brought a lot of people with us today (22 people). Not one complaint was to be had. Food was brought out together so no long waits as people received their course.

I’ve never ever had a bad meal or time there.

A lovely restaurant regardless if you’re having a family meal, time with friends or work colleagues, or a special night out with a loved one.

Had the lobster ravioli which was lovely but found the overall night very expensive. £40 for a plate of ravioli and 3 glasses of wine. I could understand if we were in the city centre but let's face it we are in an industrial estate which currently looks like a building site. Very little ambience once inside. Can't say I'll be rushing back as lots of other nicer Italian restaurants in the area.

I had some lunch her on Friday with 4 of my friends. The staff all seemed really stressed and not friendly at all. The waiter we had was so rude when we asked for sauce to go with our meal. My beef baguette cane with mushrooms even though I said no mushrooms, my friend said she would have them and the waiter said yes it will only be scrubbed off by the cook anyway. After this we didn’t enjoy our meal at all.

We went for a late lunch and although the staff were lovely and welcoming the food was not. Pesto pasta dish was swimming in butter & cream, there was butter in everything and left all the family feeling sluggish and a little unwell. Needless to say we didn't finish our meals and will not be returning
