We went yesterday 22/1216 my first visit to this place and yes there was only 2 of us and the pub was not busy and we had to wait for a bit but when the food came it was piping hot . What's up with a bit of a wait you have a drink and nice company to talk to . I recommend this place I will be going back

I'm quite shocked at some of the bad reviews on here! I live in Bradford so I travel out to come here once every couple of months and I've never had a bad experience often on busy days there's a short wait for food but I've never bothered cause it's always been nice and it's busy cause everyone agrees! The staff are lovely the place is clean lovely out door play area for the kids and a wacky warehouse inside! Always the first place we think of when we are going out for a family meal..don't be put off by the bad reviews and try it for yourselfs! Top marks from me :)

I believe the pub is under new management and you can certanly tell.....the menu has changed slightly bringing back some of the old favourites including the sizzling plates of food which was what the pub is famous for. My husband had the chicken tikka which was enormous and came with so many accumpliments and looked delicicous. I ordered the scampi which was also lovely. We will certanly be back the food was delicious. Thank you.

I've been a customer for years (maybe 5-6 times a year)and in the past have used the Wacky Warehouse, today we were just eating and a couple of drinks.

Always had a good experience. I can't fault them.

Fantastic food and excellent service. Party of 10 and the food came out all at the same time. Staff extremely friendly and very helpful!

We have been here a few times and the meals have been varied the main complaint has been the food not being very hot..we had a meal there Easter Sunday and it was perfect the meat was cooked really well and it was HOT, the place was reasonably full we waited around 30mins for our food but I do t mind that if the food is good, staff very pleasant.

The service at the bar was good and very polite. Ordered food and was told to expect a 40 min wait which if told I don’t mind as your not sat wondering where your food is. It did take a little longer but worth the wait. Mixed grill steak perfect asked for rare and it was. Rib eye steak medium and was cooked to perfection others in party had chicken fajitas which they really enjoyed.

The Wacky Warehouse is looking a little tired but the pub side was lovely and the food was gorgeous! We will be coming back and thoroughly recommend to everyone! Just a thought they could do with a sign on the main dual carriageway down to it from Otley for more custom as not many people know it's there and they should!

Waited for food for 6 of us for an hour 2meals came out then waited about another 45mins for the rest of the meals to then have burnt burgers bistro gravy which was ment to be beef dripping gravy the dirty chips had hardly anything on them. Really let down as this was suppose to be a birthday meal together.

Usually enjoy coming here although it's been a while since we were last here. Ordered 2 mixed grills one regular and one XL. Waited over an hour for food. When it came it wasn't sizzling and was rather cold and meats were very dry. The "XL" one was the same size as the regular one. The waitress said she was going to bring over some sauces. She didn't. We went over to an empty table and used theirs. Seemed very under staffed and overall we were unimpressed with the service today and considering giving it a miss next time.

Sadly negative review- ordered food altogether and there was Atleast 10 minutes from the first meal coming out to the last. (Party of about 18)... my chicken burger came cold (cheese wasn’t melted as was that cold) so asked waiter to change it... he politely swapped it another arrived 5 mins later warm chicken but a frozen breadcake? I pointed this out to the assistant manager who apologised...and brought a replacement breadcake out & said sorry they’re rushing? I’d rather wait for well prepared food than cold. The adults desserts were also a huge disappointment... basically the kids Jill’s sundae (£1.49) is the epic sundae in a fancy sundae glass (£4.29)?? Sadly I’ve been before and had no problems but now not sure if I’d return.

Ordered a steak it was awful it was just a lump of grissle I asked for a salad Instead of chips it was a few lettuce leaves with some chopped peppers. Um not what I call a salad. Very disappointing I won't be rushing back.i did tell the guy who served us the meal and he apologised but nothing else.

My wife gave a 4 star review on the 29th April which was more than well deserved. However I had the same burger meal today and it, the burger, was overcooked and rock hard. My guess would be it had been previously cooked then recooked.



How the same meal can be so different in the space of 4 days can differ so much is beyond me!



Unusually no one came to ask us if everything was ok, I usually say yes even if it isn't but today I would have let it be known I was very disappointed.

Food takes 45minutes+ for one dish so only go here if you have no plans for the rest of the day. Not busy at all and only ordered one main. whilst we were waiting a family of 4 came and sat next to us and ordered food, which all their food came and they finished their food before we received ours. The sauces that were put on our table for our meal, were taken away and given to the family next to us before we even received our food. When we eventually got the food it was okay, but customer service and waiting time could be dramatically improved. �

As soon as we arrived we were told we hadn't booked even though my husband showed them our email booking confirmation... had to wait a good half an hour at least for a table.... lady that served us was miserable & rude... came for daughters birthday and then was told that the play area was closing at 7pm so kids didn't even get go in... kids played outside... monkey bars are broken.. health & safety issue!!!!... appalling service... waited a least an hour for food... which I will admit was very nice, serving staff were polite and deputy manager was happy and helpful... just shame about the other bar lady... however we will not be returning and unfortunately we will not be recommending them.

Can’t cook a steaks full stop 4th time we been not yet have we had wat we ordered good at well done ones we won’t be going back not good for a steak and grill pub

Yes the waitress kindly took them back and another meal was brought , but then my son was sat waiting for 10 minutes whilst the rest of us ate. One waitress left to do all the serving and clearing up of tables. And 2 bar staff that don't know how to manage a bar and don't know which people are next in line , letting a women jump the que to pay! If we all did that people who want to order food/drinks will be left standing and waiting for ages!

3 people were served before me and I was waiting the longest! After been told I would be next after the 1st person who was served before me....yes you pay for what you get but service and properly cooked food applies no matter what prices you pay.
