Went for a last minute lunch and booked via my dining club card which gave me 40% off which is all day on Mondays! We were greeted by the friendly manager who gave us a great table! We ordered starters and mains which were freshly prepared and delicious I can thoroughly recommend the smoked salmon tagliatelle - amazing! We normally only frequent the city centre Gusto but based on our experience and great service we will be back to cookridge - thanks all 😉😉😉💕

We visited Gusto last night for a 60th birthday. Firstly I cannot fault the service from all staff, we had 7 kids all making pizzas and that alone took patience. The food was all delivered piping hot and of a very high standard, and again with a table of over 20 it was very well managed.

Secondly the food was absolutely amazing. I have not eaten food of that standard for a long time. I will definitely be returning, and I can strongly recommend the meat platter and crab spaghetti. Good work gusto

Was taken straight to our booked table at our request, was a fairly busy night due to their January offer. The young lad serving us was most plenty and attentive. Food lovely, cosy environment

Visited tonight for first time in a while and it's was a lovely buzzing atmosphere , the food was delicious and the young man serving our table was lovely and gave excellent service on such a busy evening he didn't keep us waiting and we noticed he wore a smile the whole evening which made the evening more enjoyable �

My husband and i went for a meal last night and loved it! Despite the restaurant been busy we didn't have to wait long, we had starters, main and shared a sweet ( i also had a fab cocktail) we booked the table for 7pm and had a lovely couple of hours. I would definitely recommend it, the food was lovely and the staff were friendly, helpful and polite we had a lovely evening �

Had a birthday meal for my girlfriends dads 60 birthday and the service was brilliant and the food even better well done all

Gustos is a local restaurant to us so we booked a table and walked up for tea last night (8th jan) with our daughter . We were greeted very well and led to our table. What a fantastic meal,the waiter was great,the garlic mushrooms starter was to die for and my daughter loved making her own pizza.

My partner also had a pizza which was also very good and my steak was mouth watering . Oh and all food was half price a bargain at £38 including drinks

Came to this Gusto for my friends birthday, it was perfect. The decor is lovely inside, the waiting staff are attentive and the food is delicious.

Been here a few times now and even booked our silver wedding anniversary back end of last year. Just had lunch for a change and yet again brilliant service, lovely staff and a great atmosphere. Thankyou.

We’ve been to gustos quite a few times now. And we really enjoy eating in the restaurant,. The food is authentic Italian and we’ve never not enjoyed a meal, added to that, the guys working the restaurant are great. Very friendly and excellent service.



However, the bar area at the front of the restaurant does not impress quite as much. Literally every time we’ve come in for a couple of drinks or had a drink at the bar whilst waiting to be seated one member of staff in particular always spoils the whole experience and leaves a sour taste in your mouth. He’s pretty rude and abrupt.

Had a birthday booking of 20 people, gave a deposit and had to have a set menu due to the size of our group which probably could have done with an extra main course as it was very limited, the only disappointment was that although we were prepared for this menu when we actually ordered, some of the items weren’t available, however the staff did everything to accommodate people making off the set menu choices instead. We were very looked after for such a big group and the food was delicious. Thank you to the manager who kept coming to make sure we were all happy and the waiters who were run off there feet with our drinks and food orders x

We went last night for 2 joint birthday celebrations upon arrival we were greeted by a rude man who made us feel like we were not welcome. Dispite booking well in advance he did not have a table to accommodate us and said we would have to be finished by 7.15 giving us just 1 hour 15 mins to eat our meal! Yet we had empty tables next to us the whole time. We have visited gusto several times over the years in fact I have previously left 5 star reviews but felt let down on this occasion. I will not rush back.

Long wait to be seated at our table during which we ordered drinks at the bar (interrupted drinks-making by several drinks orders for the ‘seated guests’). Once seated service slow and despite an early evening booking time of 6.30, no fillet steak left (which my mum the birthday girl had planned to order when we’d perused the menus while waiting for a table). One miserable server who brought the meals. Slow service. Food quality was the only aspect making me give 3 starts rather than 1 or 2. Once the bill came waited another lengthy period to be able to ask for a card machine. Will potentially book again as the restaurant is on the doorstep but disappointing and certainly not a successful meal out. *could do better*

Disappointing and we’ve been coming for ten years! We weren’t given the early bird menu or the kids menu. When we asked for the kids she didn’t bring crayons so we had to ask again. The dough petals were nice and so was the pizza. We asked to pay but after waiting some time we went over to the desk and waited for them. They then said I hadn’t booked online so I couldn’t have my discount. I did so they finally gave in. Come on Gusto sort it out!

Been several times and always had a good value for money meal.

Last night on our belated works Xmas do the calamari was tough so I left it. The chicken was dry so my friend took it home for her dog. Then even though we pre ordered our choices from a set menu we were told there was no sorbet and would we have ice cream. I said I would go without then 5mins later sorbet arrived for several of us. I came out hungry.

Staff were friendly though.

Been going here for 40 years as a family always got discount irrelevant of the time we went. Mostly food was good but the lasagna was dry with uncooked lumps of carrot in it which to be fair was knocked off the bill even though we didnt ask which was good. Seem to be new management in which obviously don't recognise loyalty card! Still worth a go but not worth the bill we paid.

We booked a meal for my daughter's 7th birthday with some of her friends. The service was diabolical.. all the kids had make your own pizza's. They were quick enough bring all the ingredients but as far as delivering all the pizza's to the oven the kids had to do it themselves after nearly 40 minutes waiting.. to top it all one child had spaghetti Bolognese.. she had to wait a further 15 minutes.. not good.. our starter plates sat on the table all this time.. and the to top it all when they brought the bill.. it was full price Eve n though it clearly states 50% off your food.. it's like they write the rules with different customers.. as previously some friends had been in with their kids and they received the full discount..



Over the years we have been there quite a feed times as it's local.. but no more..

Didn’t get as far as eating there. Granted I rang at lunchtime (a busy time) to book later in month. Couldn’t tell me whether they had a table or not at the time but said they would call back........still waiting. Does not bode well for table service!
