That's what you call fab timing! Last walk of the day and about 20ft from the van coming back....... ☔
Got to go back out to feed Keith the cat later then have a feeling my Indy may fall out with me. She's off for her 1st swim at the hydro pool to help her regain her muscle and support her arthritic joints. Nice knowing you all 😂

Then Gus and Vinnie. And I took my boy Falcor with me.
They got along fab. Gus did get a polite telling for trying to get a bit erm..... "jiggy" with Falcor 🙈 falcor won't tolerate it but is fantastic at correcting undesired behaviour in a polite way. Gus listened and didn't try again. good boy Gus 😍 Vinnie stuck to Falcor like glue. Think he liked his new buddy . As long as is cool enough for Falcor, we'll certainly have to do that again. All 3 enjoyed it.
We bumped into another walker and said hello, making new friends.

Then Rocco and Max
They've really settled into routine now. End of last week and today they've kept their handbags to themselves when I've gone in. No scrapping over who was saying hello 1st ♥

Then Pippa. She had play time too on the field.
She gets cross if I put the ball away as she wants to swap for the one she has 😂 but I won't let her catch without lots of breaks. Not good for her joints. So few throws. Walk about. Throw. She laid down and said "well if you're not going to chuck the 2nd ball you're not getting the 1st back" 😂 cheeky moo

1st dog today was Popcorn.
She's on garden only for a little while so play time!! She wasn't impressed and kept screeching to go for walkies. But give her a few days and she'll realise it's play time instead.

Quiet one today
Keith 1st Then Pippa for a breezy but warm walk Then Gus and Vinnie. On lead at St Aidens. Place is full of hog weed which can cause severe burns and scarring. Didn't realise until we got down near the river.... The beachy bit it full of it. So avoiding there as is quite close to the path

The van is super tidy and clean inside and out.
The rain yesterday started just as I took the hoover out 🙈 big van = chuck it in and carry on!
Was overdue a deep clean!

The wolf wagon has been in the garage this morning for a few bits fixing.
New drive belt as was noisy and annoying.
New boost sensor that was causing a bit of lag when accelerating (Tiny bit of plastic 😂). Didn't feel like it was an issue until I just drove it home and it set off quicker 🙈
... And new light/indicator stalk as the twisty bit for the lights was loose and the slightest bump or indicating right was turning the head lights off 😱 💡
So all fixed and safe for my and your Howlers to be chauffeured to walk locations 😁
I may even clean it inside and out this weekend (you watch it rain now I've said that!) 😂

If you see a dog that is wearing yellow, please respect their space. It can be any of the following -
Ribbon Bandana Lead (or yellow sleeve on the lead)... Harness Owner wearing high vis vest
As a reactive dog owner, I always appreciate those who lead up their dog and wait for us to move or hide behind a Bush. Kai will usually happily move off the track and sit for treats. Or I can sprinkle treats in the grass and he'll find them while other dogs pass.
Sadly due to kai's brain damage, he doesn't understand other dogs. Even the friendliest of dogs have attacked him because he doesn't display appropriate body language. A few years ago he was attacked 8 times in 4 months 😔 so he's hyper wary of dogs now. And sadly because his brain doesn't process like most, training and desensitisation doesn't work as it should. He's never attacked but I muzzle him where we may come across dogs through concern that if he did react badly, he could do damage.
Once he sees the same dog a few times or if I'm holding the lead of the other dog, he'll make a new best friend. He just needs understanding and time to build trust that your dog won't harm him.
If you see us or anyone with yellow out, please lead your dog and just give us a minute to widen the gap between us. You'll be a super star and will be helping the "yellow dog" to learn to trust. And maybe one day if we see you regularly, you will notice how your consideration and support makes a massive difference. Often kai recognises those who have given him space and will start to wag. He's also made a good few friends eventually ♥

I'm dosed up on hayfever meds but am still sneezing my brains out... Or whatever is left after yesterday 😂 don't ache too much now and don't look like I'm crying! So see how I go! Apparently pollen count is low.
