Huge congratulations to our very own Sophie- who graduated from Edinburgh University today with a first class honours degree! So proud!

What fabulous service !! My husband and I dropped in yesterday for a coffee, decided to sit outside as it was such a gorgeous autumn day, we were given freshly filled hot water bottles and two clean soft throws to put on our knees as we drank our lovely coffees. When my husband asked for cinnamon on his coffee the waitress said they hadn't got any but then offered to go to local shop to buy some for us, which she promptly did !!! Outstanding service with a smile !! Sadly not often received in our country. Five stars !! *****

We used Hayley & Clifford as caterers for our wedding in May 2016 and they exceeded all expectations. We knew they did great sandwiches and cakes and when we found out they did event catering too they were the ideal choice for our vintage style afternoon tea. We dealt with Val who was amazing and went above and beyond at every stage. She was professional, knowledgeable, organised, and took away a lot of stress from us on the day as we knew everything was in safe hands. Feedback on the food from our guests was excellent. Thank you! We can't recommend them highly enough.

We love this gorgeous little place, which is why we now visit every Tuesday for our lunch. The food is delightful and the staff are just fabulous. They go out of their way to accommodate our requests for combinations of food not even on their menu and are so passionate about the food they sell. Even our three year old asks to go for their 'yummy delicious' cheese on toast. If he's impressed they must be good!! Quirky and friendly. You must visit if in Leeds!

Val, Michelle and the rest of the team are very friendly and do a great job. Looking forward to going in to discuss my Christmas hamper order very soon.

This is a classy joint. Great staff with a wonderful engaging attitude. A magnificent Flat White coffee. Simple but elegant deli display. Love it.

If you want to relax over a fantastic coffee then Hayleys is a must. They do a great bacon sandwich and some to die for cakes�

I love it, my daughter loves it and my teenager son especially loves the bacon sandwiches (he used to be happy with an 80p sausage roll from cooplands but then tried your bacon butty ... Drat!) So well done Hayley's for keeping us all happy xx

Having just captured Hayley & Clifford's amazing food for their new website, I was surprised to find out what stunning outside catering this super cafe and deli make. I am really chuffed that I know now, I already love eating in the cafe but when I need food for a business lunch or family event, I know where I will be going!

Great atmosphere, good coffee and cake. Service with a smile.

First visit today with my daughter for lunch, both of us had delicious soup with very generous serving of fresh bread. Great selection of cakes and foodie goodies to buy. Will definitely be back, such a lovely ambience!

Big thank you to everyone who participated in helping me get home today after I stupidly forgot to take me keys with me when I left to go away for a week. Laid awake all night with stressed stomach ache worrying how I was going to get in. After a 6am get up, mad morning, 3.5 hr wait for my flight which had a landing of around 15 mins similar to being on a big dipper (everyone got off feeling seriously sick), trek across town, finding my bus stop had been cancelled, trekking right back across town (with heaviest hand luggage ever), I was absolutely jiggered and just wanted to sleep. However, life is not easy and let's just say, after a lot of tooing and froing I got in, in the end. Christine Dagg, Kevin Dagg, Nicola Chapman, lovely shop girl in Haley and Clifford on Street Lane, Leeds.... seriously.... THANK YOU! and of course Matthew Tobias Mason, I know I am a numpty for forgetting my keys. Thank you for reminding me xxx
