We planned our wedding 25 years ago in Hansas. It is a very special restaurant with a lovely relaxed calm friendly atmosphere. Hansas is beautiful in spirit and in action as is her family. The all female staff provide a gentle lovely service. The food Is simply delicious. They also do a great Sunday buffet. Will be in for our 25th Wedding Anniversary.

The food, the atmosphere and service was amazing. Quite possibly the best I’ve had. Seriously, do yourself a favour and grab a bite to eat at Hansa’s.

Thank you Hansa and Kish. Your cooking masterclass last night was an absolutely amazing experience. We can't wait to practice our new skills at the weekend. Thank you for such amazing hospitality and beautiful food.

Just had a wonderful night at Hansas, had excellent food and it made a wonderful conclusion to my 20th birthday! Keep up the good work and expect to see me soon!

I have been coming here for over 20 years and as always the food is firsts class authentic and definitely in a class of its own. The vegan choices are top notch and worth every praise indeed. Great drink and wine choices too for all palettes. The only choice for vegan/veggie Indian food!

I ate here for the first time tonight. I’m not a vegetarian so this was a new experience for me but I must say the food was delicious! I had bhaji paneer with pilau rice and it was so fresh and tasty. The vegan vanilla ice cream was also lovely, I would never have known it wasn’t dairy ice cream. Also, importantly, I found the staff to be very friendly and great service given. Will definitely come back.

Hansa’s is a vegetarian restaurant, but also specialises in delightful vegan dishes, in fact most dishes can be veganized. The vegan banquets are highly recommended. This is a special place where my family choose to dine out at for those extra special occasions. Even my carnivorous family are wowed over by the vegan dishes and to not crave meat here.



Hansa’s restaurant has a special place in my heart and my admiration for Hansa herself is second to none as she is an extraordinarily person who has developed a spectacular restaurant over the years.

Great veggie restaurant would highly recommend it, food is freshly prepared and there is a nice atmosphere in the restaurant parking no problem either!

As an avid meat eater I visited here last night with a friend and was very much out of my comfort zone. However, I shouldn't have worried. The food was lovely and staff were excellent. I highly recommend the Spice Bomb and will definately be back

Absolutely amazing food, love the breads, the sizzler and the sharing starter, would highly recommend to everyone not just vegans/vegetarians. Lots of my party were meat eaters and send they didn't notice the meat was missing, very very tasty an absolute must go to!!!

A hard to find experience - great authentic food, a passionate down to earth chef leading a team of women who are equally driven to provide excellent food and service. Oh and don't forget husband Kishor who runs the front of house and gives that 1 to 1 experience to all the diners. If you haven't been yet, why not?

I used Hansa's for catering a function at my house. On the whole was pleased with the food and Hansa's were extremely accommodating with our requirements. Only negatives were the chutneys were too watered down and the flimsy polystyrene plates that were provided.

Waited around an hour to be served, though it was fairly busy. We asked if the dishes were spicy and the waiter said they weren't. To be honest I wasn't really impressed by my dish. It was actually very hot and didn't taste of much more than chilli... However, I do wonder if this was an issue with the fact the menu doesn't have a great description of the dishes and I chose one that wasn't really to my liking, rather than the fact the food is bad (I've had some pretty tasty food there in the past).



However, the place is very pretty and the staff are friendly. My Mum really enjoyed her desert and the presentation of it was really good. I'm not sure if I'd go back again soon, as it's usually out of my budget, but I didn't have a bad evening there.
