Went for breakfast with Santa this morning. The breakfast itself was lovely. Taking the kids to see Santa was one of the best ones we've ever been to. Both of our kids, 8 and 5 absolutely loved it. Great set of activities and the staff could not be more helpful. Thank you and Merry Christmas!

We went hear for our christmas lunch an it was beautiful all courses the staff were fantastic and it looked a well looked after place .. we called again between xmas an new year and once again beautiful .... i would defently reccomend harvester and will be eating again especially xmas dinner ���� love love love this place � x

We visited this morning with my boyfriend's mum. She just wanted a latte and we chose the harvester recommends breakfast for £4.99 plus the unlimited coffee, tea and juice for £2.99. The service was very good and in particular Harry. He was very friendly and helpful in explaining how it all worked. Whilst we waited for our full English we grabbed some continental breakfast and Harry was replenishing juices, milk etc. At the breakfast bar you help yourself to yoghurt, fruit, cereals, toast, muffins, crumpets, tea, coffee and various juices. If I could suggest anything it would be to include danishes or croissants. We both requested well done bacon and I asked for poached eggs. When our breakfasts came it was all cooked to our liking and especially my poached eggs! They were cooked just right. So many places over cook them. So complements to the chef! As 11.30am hung over us, the staff started to clear everything away to make way for the salad bar for lunch. I grabbed some more juice and a female staff member said she would leave bthe jugs of juices on the bar for us if we wanted. The seats were comfortable, tables were clean and the toilets were clean too ...just a bit too warm in there. On our way out Harry opened the door for us as we helped my boyfriend's mum out. All in all we had a very good first time experience! We hope to come back and try the lunch/evening meal menu next time.

We had a meal last night was lovely food was great, atmosphere was nice to see england game . The lady behind bar had some challenges with some customers and she raised above them and dealt with the situation fast and effective and she is a credit to your business .A lady working with laws and regulations not easy when facing verbal abuse , She was very professional.

We had a breakfast here yesterday and it was lovely. The staff were very friendly and polite. Would definitely recommend

This harvester is not my closest but we come regularly to meet up with my parents in law as it's a halfway point. It is always very good value for money and a comfortable cosy environment nothing too much trouble. Just had the mother's day menu and it was delicious. Every last morsel eaten and enjoyed by the 4 adults and 2 very fussy kids. Thank you.

Me and my sister in law took the kiddie winks for breakfast with santa. Breakfast nice as usual. Kids got crackers and colouring things to do while they waited for Santa. They then decorated a box with a mince pie in for Santa and were given a chocolate coin and reindeer food for Rudolph. The visit with santa wasn't rushed at all. My son loved the fact that Santa gave him a choice of presents and came away with not 1 but 2 of his favourite collectables. Will be back next year for sure

Last time we went it was awful. Thought we would give it another go & so glad we did. Everyone had something different & all was lovely, from the presentation to the taste xx

Had a lovely evening at the winding Wheel. Emma R our server was fabulous, nothing was too much trouble, very helpful. Excellent service and great food will certainly be coming back.

Came for breakfast but the menu was just out of this world complicated and backwards even the waitress apologised for how daft and backwards it was.

The simple chicken and jacket potatoe was not very good the chicken was dry and the jacket skin which I love was like rock could not cut it never mind eat it

Only one person on serving when we arrived so waited ages for someone to take the order. Had to chase this up. When main arrived mine was incorrect and had to be sent back. Overall not impressed and wouldn't return in a hurry.

Just been for breakfast with the other half the service was great but the food was absolute dog shite,cold and didn’t get what we ordered on the plate two very unsatisfied customers won’t be visiting anytime soon �

I have been to this Harvester many times over the years, but I feel the service level and quality has gone down since my last visit over a year ago. Yesterday we took my mum out for a late Mother's Day meal, booked a table for 7:30 and was given the seats we requested. We were served fairly quickly and the food was really nice, however the salad bar was diabolical, literally nothing on it, and whilst I understand coming to the end of the day it might not be full, I don't expect it to be empty to the point where we are literally scraping up what little is left in the serving dishes. Now onto getting the bill. We had been served by several people throughout our meal, there didn't seem to be any consistency in who was assigned to our table, so when it came to the bill we were waiting for ages as all the staff seemed to disappear, so in the end I gave up waiting and took it upon myself to present myself at the bar to pay, where I had to wait 10 minutes for a staff member to attend the bar and get to me past the queue of people waiting to pay their bill or buy drinks. The staff member seemed quite stressed, and I would be if I had that many people to serve due to poor management.

Had the £9.99 2 course ..Mushrooms a sponge of fat, fish batter to wet to eat , tea Luke warm ,peas 2diffrent colors as obviously been cooked at different times ..Half chicken nice and tender .Pudding nice ..Did complain and was offered to cook again but it wouldn't have been any better ..Sorry to say fist and last visit ��

Been for breakfast this morning(29/4/18) staff were very friendly. Good value for money if it wasn't for cold bacon. After a 12 hour shift come for breakfast with family but wasn't worth my time with it been very busy to complain.

would not recommend here. cold food wrong food and to top it of a staf member came out ov toilets n started drying hands under kitchen heater where food was!! bloody awful waste ov £17 wont be goin again anx will be also reporting to trading standards. also vegi sausages should not be on the same storage plate as bacon wen been cooked!! but everything cold. alsl food had been added to a plate and removed not good!! trading standards next waste ov money unless u wanna b ill dont go!!

My friend visited here on Saturday and was appalled by the manners and customer service she recieved at the door from a rude young lady who was a member of staff. My friend is recovering from a stroke and was talked down to and not given the opportunity to express herself. I would suggest people steer clear of this place as the reviews seem to say it all when they mention the poor customer service. If I wasnt in Afghanistan I would visit and do the talking on behalf of my friend. Shame on you Harvester, if thats what constitutes your "Family style" you can poke it

Just been here for the first time in a long while and can definitely say we won't be going again.my meal was cold. my chicken was burnt that much it was inedible,my ribs were grey n fatty and missing any taste or sauce at all.the salad bar was bog standard to say the least and it used to be worth visiting just for the salad bar.we left really disappointed and definitely won't be going again!!!
