Lovely meal with really friendly chatty staff. I was there with my son and friends I hadn’t seen for a while so we ended up chatting and taking our time with the food and staying over 2 hours. It was a busy Sunday teatime but we were not rushed in the slightest.

Had the pleasure of eating here on Tuesday 6th June, with my mother in law, nanny in law and my 2 kids.

Was served by the lovely Charlene..to be honest the food was ok, the only reason I'm giving 5 stars is Charlene...she's an absolute credit to you, and it appeared she was the only one in restaurant doing anything..they was a few other members of staff walking around, not quite sure what they were doing, as Charlene seemed to be doing everything herself.

So as much as I won't come back to eat there, Charlene saved you from getting a poor review.

Keep up with the good work Charlene, everyone else there is miserable and the food is too x

Fabulous restaurant. We had a large family celebration there, all the food appeared at exactly the right time, it was hot and delicious. The desserts were large but the younger children soon helped us out. Staff were friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend for any group with a variety of age groups.

A big thank you to Catherine for making our evening enjoyable, a very genuine lovely lady who made the visit above and beyond what is expected, we wasn’t rushed at all, and each table we observed her serve she took the time to chat and make everyone feel just as welcome, a real asset to your company. She deserves a reward/ promotion will definitely be visiting here more with amazing staff like this it’s not all about the food but the staff too. Thank you again Catherine

Visited here with my 3 mates after a heavy night out, We needed refuelling.

Had to wait for a table, which it no problem, sat in the bar area whlist waiting, all tables covered with empty/ dirty glasses and plates. Had to ask someone to clear it after 15mins sat on a dirty table

Once seated we had a lovely waitress Sharon E. She was very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.

Once we ordered the food, it took ages and wasn't worth the wait. Very average good, mine looked and tasted like micro wave food, So not sure why it took a while to come out.

Food was extremely disappointing.

Only reason we would come back is for Sharon E, she is a good laugh and really good at her job. A credit to your pub and team. Thank you again Sharon!

Nice place, friendly staff. We shared a few Tapas dishes for lunch and they were lovely, well cooked and great value for money. Would definitely return

User

Food was good, ('83 chicken combo, spicy chicken breast and king prawn) service was good, place was clean, will be going back... What more do I need to say? ...

User

First time back since the renovation. Better atmosphere not as dark and dingy as it used to be.

Was a bit wary after reading some of the reviews but I can honestly say that we thought the food was very good and hot, The staff were very pleasent and helpful although it was hard to say which waitress was looking after our table at times as the girl who seated us and took the order wasn't the girl who brought out our food and someone else took our plates away!

All I All we enjoyed ur visit to Colton Mills and will be back again

User

A big improvement on what it used to be,staff really accomdating on a really busy Friday .We ere a party of 11 for a birthday and everything was good food could have been hotter but that was the only thing I could say against it ,A nice touch was the birthday balloons on the table.Didn't go for a while because thought it had gone downhill but it is now back on my list .

Was seated pretty quickly but long periods of time between seeing our waitress. Enjoyed the continental breakfast and refill drinks. Food took a while to arrive and when it did it was very dry. Sausages and bacon were over cooked and burnt. Asked for bill and that came pretty quickly but had to go to the bar to pay as our waitress never came back. Very rushed off her feet poor thing. Not sure if I will come back again. Second time visiting and second time feeling let down.

User

Nice atmosphere and love the decor but the food is really not great. I visited on mothers day and the food was average. Visited again yesterday for breakfast and that was just horrendous. The toast machine was completely burning the toast, the cooked breakfast took about half an hour to be served and when it came it was cold. Not really what you expect at nearly £10 per person. The manager though was lovely very understanding and refunded me. Great customer service.

User

Lovely service really friendly waitress seated quicky. Clean place, lovely atmosphere but the food let it down unfortunately. It was rather mediocre also the lettuce at the salad bar was brown😳 i am finding this concerning as we are booked for Christmas dinner. Please dont spoil Christmas for us with a repeat of this. O hope to write a 5 star review at Christmas.

User

Eaten here quite a few times, staff always friendly & pleasant, food not bad by pub standards. Might not be rushing back after today - our clothes still smell of smoke from the grill they cook some of the food on, & the experience was spoilt a bit by groups of feral children running round the pub & in & out of the fire door (we were sat next to it).

User

What a massive let down for our work night out, service was bad, food was cold and undercooked absolutely awful, then it was almost to much trouble for them to bring our bill, good job we had good company or would have been a total right off, definitely won't be getting anymore of my money.

User

Some of the staff were lovely but the food was terrible. I had Seabass and Prawns, sent it back once as it was burnt and then when it came out (after all my family had finished eating) it was awfully dry and rubbery. Definitely preferred the old menu. On this occasion a total let down unfortunately.

User

Only giving 2 stars and not 1 because the toilets are nice. Food was terrible, service was terrible. Young waitress who's face would of cracked had she smiled. Obviously loves her job loads. Kids breakfast was ok but stuff missing from order. Adult breakfast what a rip off. Was on some kind of war rationing, wanted vegetarian but had no sausages left which was really bad as it was only 10.30am. Asked for double beans to make up for the fact and was literally about a table spoon worth. Chef seriously needs lessons on how to poach an egg. First 4 hard boiled sent back. Only 1 out of 3 second time around wasn't hard boiled again. Mushrooms and tomatoes left off both adult breakfasts. Absolutely terrible. Sort it out, Witherspoons only down the road and 10 times better!!!!

User

Went in for a cooked breakfast. I asked for fried eggs. The first eggs were more like boiled eggs and had shell in them. The second attempt at making fried eggs resulted in them being served with a hair!

Really really poor. The waitress was very apologetic but quite frankly the chef cant cook.

User

Visited Sunday lunch.

Starters took a long time to arrive, most basic of serving, tasteless.

Main courses arrived, all 3 steak knives broken, burgers looked like processed meat, 3 of us were unable to finish our meals and my wife has felt sick during the past 24 hrs, since we ate at the harvester.

We've decided unanimously to boycott this esablishment for the foreseeable.
