Went for a meal tonight and the food was amazing! Fantastic atmosphere and the staff were so friendly and helpful, especially the girl and guy behind the bar. The price for the food was so much cheaper than other BBQ places and much better quality too. Definitely will be returning here!

Three of us went in tonight for a few beers. It was busy, good atmosphere so we decided to stay for some food. It's brand new, paint still wet, so we weren't upset when the food took a bit longer than expected.



When we asked how long it would be the staff were AMAZING. I have literally never had service like it in this country, or anywhere else. They refunded in full three meals, they sent out the food really quickly after we'd asked, they gave us a round of drinks for free, doubled up all of our fries AND chicken wings AND chucked in a huge beef rib for good measure. We couldn't believe it. Not only that but the lovely girl behind the bar, the manager and the chef all personally apologised and delivered our food to us. The guy behind the bar also came up to us to check on us and apologised again. They really didn't have to but it was so appreciated. The food was brilliant - cheaper and better than some other BBQ joints we've eaten in. So chuffed this is on our doorstep in Headingley. The choice of beer is great, the wine is good, the chef is a dude and food was great. YEP! THANK YOU!

Seriously good burgers, really enjoyed the big ass burger. Amongst the best in Leeds, which seems to be full of gourmet burgers these days. Sweet potato fries are the perfect accompaniment and they are sprinkled with really nice seasoning. My vege wife enjoyed the mac cheese pattie, but hoping the 3 bean sloppy joe is available next time. Good value too.

Mix up with our food order but still a stunning venue with a great selection of beers and ales along with a fantastic spirit range to suit everyone :) definitely recommend, great for the cricket days :)

I had the sample board which I was very happy with.

It was more than big enough and I enjoyed everything on it.

My girlfriend had the big ass burger and she was happy with what she ordered too.

Our two year old boy had the Lil patty kids meal with the free cordial and ice cream and loved it. Definitely will be coming back. Thanks guys!

Great pub the music they have on was great fantastic place

Great night on Saturday with some live entertainment . You can't beat a bit of jazz n blues to get your foot tapping . Good atmosphere ,Friendly staff , good beer and food - say no more 👍🏻

Food absolutely fantastic, wide selection of beers and lovely atmosphere. The staff are excellent, warm and welcoming.

First time there late Saturday afternoon. Managed to get a table straight away and ordered our food, about 10-15 mins later the food arrives. I was really surprised how quick the service was. The food was so delicious though. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back again.

Brilliant staff who are helpfull and know their meat and drinks.



I went for the sampler board to try a bit of everything. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasted fantastic. Struggled to finish all the chips it was that big.



Staff were all nice and attentive without being bothersome, really good advice on the wide range of beers.

A great pub. Friendly polite staff. Knowledgable too. This place has a great aesthetic look to it too.

Great atmosphere, fantastic choice of drinks and the food looks delicious although not tried it yet. Definitely a good venue for all ages - not too studenty but young and modern at the same time

Good pub not a student bar like the majority in Headingley it’s a little more expensive than other pubs but if you want to listen to great bands and have a descent pumped beer go for it Scott. Aussie in Headingley, came for the weather

Decent beer selection and good atmosphere. Spoiled only by disinterested and miserable bar staff.

The advertisement board behind the bar was misleading!" Bottle of wine or Presecco. Prices from £3.60 a glass or £13.95 a bottle" which I read as Pesecco was that price and not the real price of £17.95 a bottle. That aside an enjoyable evening was had.

Not a good day to be honest, ordered 2 sampler boards and any 3 meats and 2 sides. order was taken then the waitress came and told us there was no ribs then she came back and said there was no hog butt, so for the sampler we had a sausage, some brisket and a pile of chicken wings, poor girl was run raggered as there was only her and the chef in. she had to tell a few people they where out of a fair bit food, she did refund one of our sampler boards for our troubles.

First visit last Wednesday though I've been to the Leeds pub many times. Nice friendly staff but the hand pulled choices could have been better in my opinion. Decent live music on too so that always helps. Like a lot of similar establishments there will always be the odd pint pulled badly and this place was no exception. But I will definitely give it another visit.

First time visiting today, must have been having a staff training session. Really nice food, shame one of the guys in the training session ruined the experience by turning around to give us a glare because my 11 month old had hit her mouth on the table and obviously cried.

Soz for interrupting your meeting, I'll ask my baby not to cry next time she hurts herself.

1st visit on Friday before the rhinos game has a good atmosphere but found it a bit pricey. £8 odd for a pint of bitter and a pint of lager and lime when it's £6 for the same drinks just down the road.
