Dancing really does run in our family ❣️ These are my mum Bryonys 1st pair of ballet shoes. You can still see the stitching in the toes that her mum did to help them last a little longer and her neatly written name on the inside. These have seen a lot of plies and sparked a passion in my mum that she passed onto me, that we now share with all of you. What a lucky bunch we are, and all because of these shoes ❣️

Many of you will know her as chief costume maker, major list writer, and fitter of ballet shoes extraordinaire ❣️ She is the back bone of HBS and works hard all week to make it look easy on a Saturday. Beginners Pointe with Miss Abigail, AKA Ballet Bootcamp 💪💪 Strength, balanced muscle tone, and correct alignment are all so important in pointe work. Successful pointe work comes from good preparation 🙌

We are so lucky to have access to these types of workshops on our doorstep 😁 Northern always put on a good class and this one would be recommended for any of our Grade 4s and over. Take a look... 💃

Sometimes we don't realise how lucky we are to have Northern Ballet right on our doorstep. Some dancers travel for hours to get to Associate classes here! We already have a couple of dancers attending the up coming Open Day and March auditions, would you like to give it a go too? Miss Amelia will even help with your application photos 😊

Really lovely ballet school for dancers of all ages and abilities! I was a student here for 15 years and I enjoyed every minuet! The team are so supportive, encouraging, lovely and the teaching is top class- thank you HBS!

My daughter has been dancing with Headingley ballet school for over 10 years now and loves every second. Wonderful that at almost 18 she still loves her classes and teachers when most hobbies tend to fall by the wayside at that age. Ballet has been wonderful for her posture and the way she carries herself in general. The love and support Amelia gives her girls goes beyond the dancing and Evie has made lifelong friends through the classes. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

I had the best time and experience at HBS! Teachers are amazing and lovely. Learnt so much throughout my lessons there and improved my ballet loads! 100% recommend to anybody looking to improve their ballet and dancing skills!

HBS is a lovely and supportive ballet school. The teachers are enthusiastic and capture the imaginations and potential of the dancers. Our babysitter is one of the older dancers, too, and I think that the school helps give the dancers a sense of dedication, responsibility and maturity that they can apply to other areas of their lives.
