Three of us came here last night to see the awesome Solomon Grey and went into the bar for a welcome cup of tea due to the snowy weather.

The bar was very unique and quirky and the staff very friendly.

Upstairs, where the performance was held, was a cosy, intimate setting with chairs and standing room.

If I was to offer one criticism, it would be that it was minus four degrees throughout the evening.

We shall, however, be happy to return at some future date.

Enjoyed the great atmosphere at the Elder Island gig at Headrow House. The band were brilliant live and well worth seeing, especially in a small intimate venue which unsurprisingly was a sellout. I don't feel the groups recorded material does them justice. Strongly recommend that you see them live if you get the chance. They will have you grooving, you can't resist!

The only downside re the venue was the initial acoustics in the low ceiling room was a dampener on the clarity of the sound and the price of a small can of pale ale at £5 :30 each.

“No football shirts allowed” on a Sunday afternoon when England are playing in the World Cup... turning two women away with such a rule (let alone any respectable person!).. school boy error headrow house.. and then to ask me if I had just tried to come in earlier...no, it’s been about a year since I last battled to get in... can’t imagine why

User

Short measures and rude staff. When the staff were asked if they could top the beer up I was told to go away. They still charged full price. I won't be back and I will make sure my friend's are aware of the scams at this establishment.
