This extraordinary musician and phenomenal improviser, Harry the Piano, is not only headlining on the afternoon of Saturday 25th April, he's also delivering a special family concert on Friday 24th. Here are some quotes to whet your appetite (and yes, that IS Bowie with Harry in one of those pics!): 'Harry the piano is supremely talented. Want to hear Summertime in the style of Rachmaninov or Show me the way to go home in the style of Ligeti? He's your man.' Keith Clarke, Edi...tor, Classical Music magazine ‘His phenomenal talent, unobtrusive charm and wit are a delight.’ Stephen Fry ‘My father would have loved your show’ Janet Borge Crowle (Victor Borge's daughter) ‘The best damn pianist in the civilised world.’ Jonathan Ross Visit Harry the Piano's website for more: http://www.harrythepiano.com

Do you remember when Lauren Zhang got a standing ovation last year? What a thrilling performance she gave. And we've lots of treats in store for you this year, too. Our programme launch is on March 15th, but if you'd like a peak at what's in store, pop over to https://www.hebdenbridgepianofestival.com /festival-program…/

There's sometimes a little bit of queuing involved in the Piano Festival - comfy footwear is an essential!

No other musician can spontaneously reinvent Michael Jackson in the style of Mozart, recreate a night at the Groucho club through the TV themes of its actor members, and improvise a seamless medley of audience requests ranging from James Bond to Shostakovich via West Side Story. This complete genius pianist/entertainer known as 'Harry the Piano" is coming to Hebden Bridge in April. Enjoy! (the video quality isn't great, but it'll give you a sense of just how stunning this guy is.) 'Hearing Harry play the piano can be a distressing experience for anyone who has ever laid hands on a keyboard, or for those who like to keep a tight rein on their use of superlatives...'

We have a huge treat in store for our Children's Concert in April 2020. We've persuaded Harry the Piano, who is headlining the following afternoon, to bring us something very special. Material will include his legendary variations on the Harry Potter theme (two million hits on YouTube), a medley of TV themes and cartoons and requests from the audience to play tunes at their request in any chosen style. Musical hilarity for all ages guaranteed. Harry the Piano Official Fanpage

This astounding musician, Robert Mitchell, is playing for us at The Town Hall, Hebden Bridge in April.
'Mitchell is a lyricist and a thinker , and British jazz is far richer for his presence.' - Mike Butler 'Mitchell is possessed of possibly the most prodigious technique I've heard in any pianoman and he used it to the full ' - Lance Liddle '…a very important influential musician' - Gilles Peterson
