Life used to be very different for Ryan and Newman, who found their place at Hft. The two Bradford locals came from very different lines of work - Ryan working as a personal trainer and Newman working as a trade sales rep - and haven't looked back since.
“... I’m so pleased I moved into the social care sector. You get into this type of work to make a difference, but there are also so many opportunities to progress and lots of pathways to suit different skill sets. The services I oversee now support a diverse mix of people – it’s amazing to see them progress.” - Ryan.

We are just 4 days away from the Virgin London Marathon 2019 and Team Hft have been working so hard towards fundraising and training.
Our fantastic team have raised an amazing £11,732 so far! Events such as the London Marathon are essential to Hft. We rely on them to fund our charitable projects.
An example of one of our charitable projects is our Personalised Technology Team who implement Personalised Technology solutions. The Team help to improve quality of life outcomes fo...r people with disabilities, while increasing efficiencies. Sponsorship raised through challenges like the London Marathon are vital to the Team continuing their essential work. They fund life changing pieces of Personalised Technology for the people we support, like Anna. Anna has a bed sensor, which alerts her support staff if she is having an epileptic seizure and gives Anna a greater sense of independence and privacy.
If you would like to support Team Hft, you can join our cheer team just email hello@hft.org.uk for more information, or if you would like to donate to Team Hft you can donate here: https://www.justgiving.com/campaig…/… /hft/londonmarathon2019
