Well worth a visit ,pity it wasn't here when I lived in Hemsworth. We've now found an alternative to Barnsley on match day afternoons. great choice of beers reasonably priced and a friendly welcome .Just a short bus journey from Cudworth .Looking forward to our next visit.

We wouldn't have known about Hamelsworde if it wasn't for a good friend recommending it. What a lovely place to try new beers; welcoming and friendly. We would highly recommend a visit.

Popped in tonight looking for food. Sorted later!!! I a can not praise this new venture enough. 'Tested' two home brewed bottled beers, bought tickets for next weeks beer festival. Congratulations great little micro brewery!! Ed and Sandra x

Nice little place,seems popular,rather warm though,decent beer,three of us,all enjoyed,good luck,looking good so far too mind.. Just edited this review,so much as happened in the last 3 Years,But One thing is for sure Hamelsworde is still going strong ,this is down to Rebecca and Dan,both are brilliant landlords/landladies,staff are always great,the place is always immaculate,Vodka night the other month was awesome,and everyone as heard about the famous Gin nights � all the best,and many more years to come,specially after your 3rd year Bday celebrations today too �

Most enjoyable place to visit. Atmosphere very good and the staff very welcoming if you are in Hemsworth please give it a try.

Martin very entertaining and his aim was to make our visit the best he could. Great beer great food a great afternoon. I would high recomend to anyone considering a visit.

I went here on Sunday for beer tasting as a part of an anniversary present for my boyfriend (as he likes his real ales!) It is such a lovely little place and the people are so nice. Martin was really friendly and we enjoyed hearing all about how the brewery/ale bar was started by his son. Lunch was lovely and we enjoyed the ales we tasted and bought. We just wish it was round the corner from us because we would be in there everyday!!! ����

I along with 3 friends spent the afternoon with you yesterday for your beer tasting session and we all loved it! We were made to feel really welcome and all the beers we tried during the tasting and afterwards too were all very nice. I am sure we will be back again very soon. Thanks so much for a great day!

Have been tonight, quite busy with a good chilled out vibe for the early bar. Had a pint of pale ale (very good) and pint of Oatey McOatface stout (absolutely awesome). For 4 drinks, cost less than a tenner, which we thought was great value. Will definitely be back

Had a brilliant night at the gin tasting night!Had a such a laugh and the owner was so nice and friendly would recommend going just for a drink or one of the gin/vodka tasting night! #GreatNight

Great little place. Excellent choice of beers which are ever changing. Don't get too attached to one though coz it probably wont be there on your next visit. But you'll soon find a new favorite .

I always seem to end up talking to someone I've never met before, the place just seems to have that friendly vibe about it. They don't do food often , but when they i it's very good. Still very disappointed at the lack of custard on draft and the manageress's lack of interest in even discussing the possibility.

First time here and won't be my last. You walk in and look at the furnishings and think 'student accommodation' as nothing matches. But it works. You go to the bar and are faced by a wide range of beers - which you can try. They are all well kept. And the bar staff are brilliant. Friendly, helpful and up for a laugh and that means the customers are the same. Give it a try.

A very welcoming host and a homely atmosphere. The prices are OK and you are given the option of tasters for the draft ales. I suggest you take that option as you may not like them all. It's nice to have something different in the area and I will definitely return.

A very nice little place to relax in and have a pint of real Ale or lager, Cider, there are Ales that are brewed on the premises by Dan the man, ( Dan Jones) well worth trying,

The staff are friendly and helpful, overall a little gem of a place 👍✌️
