Leeds City Council's Housing Leeds teams provide services for people looking for a home, living in council or private rented homes and council leaseholders.
We provide 57, 000 council homes across the city, at affordable rents, building more homes and bringing empty homes back into use to meet the demand for housing.

New Year saw the completion of the first phase of a 2 year, 16 block, re-roofing scheme. Works included improved insulation, an award winning weatherproofing system, improvements to the rainwater drainage system, roof access doors, windows and lift shaft vents
Safeguarding Lead Officers delivered an overview of safeguarding to over 60 Mears sub-contractors last week. Feedback was really positive with attendees saying it had raised their awareness and they felt more confident about identifying and reporting #safeguarding issues.

New Build Council Houses in Gipton!
Public consultation for the Local Lettings policy opens today and closes on the 13 February. If you would like to take part in the survey, please call into Gipton Housing Office where a survey will be available for you to complete.
There will also be a public consultation event on Wednesday 6 February between 2pm and 4pm outside the Co-op on Coldcotes Circus, please come along to voice your views on the Local Lettings Policy or find out more about this scheme.
