Team Farrar conquer the Yorkshire 3 Peaks!!
Faz and his family completed the Yorkshire 3 Peaks yesterday raising money for Wakefield Hospice in memory of Brenda Farrar.
The shop will be keeping a sponsor form this week for anyone who would like to make a donation, or you can donate directly here by clicking on the Wakefield Hospice link.

Yesterday Howgate & Farrar received a 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ food hygiene rating from the Food Standards Agency. We pride ourselves in not only providing high quality produce but providing high standards through and through.

It's only a few weeks away... Kitch's Bigger Football Bash! We have a fun packed family day with all proceeds going to Cancer Research and St James Neo Natal Unit. If anyone would like to donate any prizes for the tombola, please drop these into the shop.

"The best, service & sausages for miles"

I travel there most Saturdays to collect supplies and usually come away with something new to try. They also stock Chilli Jam simply a delight in a jar !

We get our pork pies for our buffets and the amount of customers who comment is lovely! Always top quality!

Just had a beef stir fry too for my tea! Gorgeous! Will definitely be coming again!

The best butchers/bakery in yorkshire! We supply the best locally sourced meat pork pies and other pastries. Im gonna say that though as we work hard to make sure of it. Why not try for yourselves im sure you will agree with me :)

The BEST butchers ever! Wish I could have everything flown over to Oz!

Really nice butchers. It has a genuine family feel to it. I sent them a message on Facebook to see if they did chicken sausages. They didn’t, however, they’ve looked into a recipe and are doing me some specially. The toffee apple sausages they sell are absolute heaven, so is the bacon.

Just ate a pork pie and I'm sure they get better every time I have one! Although I didn't think that was possible. Always taste so good. Great service too. Happy New year to you all, long may your success continue!

Great staff, great meat, great friendly place. Nothing's too much trouble....the best pork pies..:and sticky toffee apple sausages. A big shout out to Geoff, Michelle and the team.

Great quality, friendly staff, realistic prices. We shop there every week.

Fantastic range of products. Loved the chicken in coffee and black pepper sauce I tried last week. My son said the fillet steak was great, melt in the mouth! Would highly recommend you give them a try.

Fantastic butchers, every time I come home from off shore I come here for all my meaty needs.

Fantastic Chinese style chicken cabab was delicious

Fabulous shop. The pigs in blankets we got for Christmas are delicious!

Excellent butchers...extensive range of products.... friendly and knowledgeable staff... top class ☆☆☆☆☆

Called in this morning for a couple of pork pies for our train journey to Manchester

The pies were amazing, still warm

The service received was 5* the guy also cut them for us and wrapped them to make eating them easier
