It's always been a real bucket list thing to see the Aurora. Before and during our trip to Iceland in early March I was constantly checking reports an our chances looked pretty slim to none!
Driving past the diamond beach on our last night we were lucky enough to catch this beauty!! I would love to see what it looks like with a KP of 5+ but at the same time I am thankful that we got to see it at all, especially like this. Truly the most awe inspiring moment of my life!
It wasn't anywhere near this vivd to the eye but still amazing to see it! Shot on a GH5 24mm F2.8 shutter speed 10-15 seconds.
