Former 1st XV players return to help

FIRST HOME GAMES OF 2018/19 SEASON TAKING PLACE ON SATURDAY 18TH AUGUST!
Folk will get the chance to see Gaz Lewis’ new look First XV when they host Hull Ionians, Sedgley Park and Leeds Beckett University on Saturday 18th August in a ‘round robin’ series of friendly matches.
Each team will play three 30/40 minute games with all Huddersfield’s games taking place on the main pitch and the visitors playing each other on Pitch 2.
... The games will kick off at 2pm, 2.50pm and 3.40pm with Hull Ionians first up for the hosts. Please come along and support the lads and enjoy some time in the bar afterwards. A very good afternoon of rugby is in prospect.
Approximate match timings:
2pm Huddersfield v Hull Ionians - Pitch 1 2pm Leeds Beckett v Sedgley Park - Pitch 2 2.50pm Huddersfield v Sedgley Park - Pitch 1 2.50pm Leeds Beckett v Hull Ionians - Pitch 2 3.40pm Huddersfield v Leeds Beckett - Pitch 1 3.40pm Sedgley Park v Hull Ionians - Pitch 2

The Falcons 2018/19 season fixtures have been released. The team managed by Gavin Rhodes and Tony Stringwell start the season with a home game against Sandal on 1st September.
The team will play in the YRFU southern Championship division and will be captained once again by Darren 'Irish' Neilly.

Wooden Spoon, the club's charity partner, are holding a golf day on Monday 17th September at Pannal Golf Club
To celebrate the 20th Yorkshire Rugby Clubs’ Golf Day, they have decided on a change of time to try and attract as many clubs as possible.
They have secured Pannal Golf Club as a venue as it is one of Yorkshire’s premier courses and provide all teams a test of their golfing skills. so hope you are able to attend.
... The arrangements are as follows:
12.30 onwards Meet at Pannal Golf Club for registration Coffee and bacon butties provided
2.00pm Shot Gun Start Teams of four 4BB best 2 stableford scores to count
7.00pm Presentation - Dinner Jackets and ties please.
The cost is £240.00 per team

Ronan Developments have renewed their partnership with Huddersfield Rugby Union Club. The company specialise in creating bespoke properties for discerning clientele as well providing tailored retail solutions to businesses throughout the country.
They will again sponsor the First XV home shirt for the forthcoming National 2 North campaign, which starts on 1st September with a home game against Sedgley Park. A new shirt, bearing the Ronan Development logo will be revealed in a... few weeks.
