NOTICE TO PATIENTS Following the recent incident involving the I G Medical Practice email account we would like to reassure patients who received emails purporting to be from our address that no patient medical information or personal details were involved in this event, and that there was no unauthorised access to our clinical system by any third party.
Following password changes and virus scans undertaken by our internal IT department and the helpdesk at NHS Mail who host... our email address, all possible steps have been taken to ensure that the address is now fully secure.
The practice has notified the area Data Protection Officer, Rachel Nicholson, of this incident and she is happy speak with anyone who has further concerns on 07395 796639
