Just a reminder about our Presentation/Fundraiser Evening. Tickets are on sale from the office or from myself or Gemma they are £2.50 adults £1.50 for children under 16 and this will get you a pie & pea supper. Anyone working for IK9 will receive 1+1 tickets free but we do need to know if you are attending for the catering and you will need a food ticket. Tickets can be put aside and paid for on the night but again we do need confirmation of attendance. Any money raised this ...year will be split equally between the PDSA in memory of Dean Nuttall the other two charities I chose myself, Muscular Dystrophy my Grandson Evan as this (he took part in the sponsored walk on Sunday and walked half way) The Lung Foundation my Grandson Jaidan as Bronchiectasis, I think I spelt that right (he did his own walk in NZ and walked 11k which is almost 7 miles, I think) We will always raise funds for a charity associated with dogs in memory of Dean but we will also now raise money for other worthy charities so if you have one in mind please let us know for next year. There will be a trophy presented to the most improved Dog Handler (The Dean Nuttall Remembrance Trophy) and £200 and a trophy to the employee of the year who will also receive £500. You will be entertained by female vocalist Christina Myers and we will be holding a raffle (which we need prizes for if you wish to donate it would be appreciated) It was a really good night last year so please come along and support our charities. Woman’s Search to Find Dog Attack Owner Goes Viral

... A Bedfordshire woman, who put pictures on social media of her spaniel being savaged by a dog resembling a pitbull, says she was “surprised” to get over 10,000 shares.
Mafalda Clewlow, from Biddenham, posted images of the “ferocious attack” on her King Charles Spaniel, as they walked near Ouse Valley golf course on Friday.
Ms Clewlow said the dog was badly hurt but was recovering well.
Police have released a photograph of a man they suspect to be the dog’s owner.
They have appealed for information from the public to identify him.
