Whilst we might be two very busy young women, we do try and make time for each other and for stimulating activities that will helps us achieve our dreams. Today was a very special day as I have introduced Daisy to one of my favourite events of the year that takes place in Leeds as part of Leeds International Festival - EMPOWERING WOMEN WITH SCIENCE AND TECH! #empoweringwithtech It has been an incredible day, as we had the pleasure of listening to some of the most inspiring a...nd empowering women that create real life impact all over the world through their work. Whilst we still need to work on our posing styles, it is safe to say we are in awe and more than ever motivated to pursue the work we want to do, event if at times that might be uncertain. For one thing we have learnt today is - always be prepared to learn, explore and make mistakes! 🙌😁

So lucky that we managed to get today as our weekly InDeriva sesh!! There was no way we could have spent it inside so we decided to go have some camera fun in the sun 🌞

After a few months of being a one woman show, InDeriva has undergone a transformation. After deep conversations over beers, we have decided to join our forces to create something that we both felt we needed as creatives. It became clear that with eachothers support it was so much easier to become motivated and inspired. We figured why not make an ongoing support network, not only for ourselves but to open up to anyone else? And so, InDeriva Collective was born and is, as of ...today, made up of us two: Andreea Karina and Daisy Georgia - 😁 Today we have done a lot of thinking and talking about what our aims and priorities are as a collective. We have come up with three key points that we want to remain true to:
⭐To provide a support network that will encourage creative growth and development both independently and as a group. ⭐To make learning free and accessible to everyone through skill sharing. ⭐To regenerate curation so that it focuses on the individual and their creative journey.
We’re so excited to go on this journey together and hopefully welcoming anyone else that wants to be part of our little family.

Here we go again! 😁 The first event of 2018 and hopefully many more to come.
Back in November, I had the lovely pleasure of chatting with two students who spoke ambitiously of using the project space at the Art Hostel for their first group exhibition. Shortly after I was invited to attend one of their weekly meetings where I got to meet everyone and see their work. A lot of questions were asked and we all had a 5 minute day dream of how the exhibition might come to be. ... Fast forward 2 months, and commitment and hard work from all the students, here it is their first exhibition is happening. I am extremely chuffed and excited for everyone to see their work, so come along and show all the support they deserve.

Just as InDeriva project was coming to life, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting a truly wonderful woman - Marla Cruz. Not only is she a really talented graphic designer, but she helped me above and beyond to make my vision of InDeriva come to life with a beautiful present - the logo.
