This place is Amazing, I'm glad I chose to live here. The staff are so friendly and helpful. You make such good friends here and I would definitely recommend living here!

The castings is such a great place to live. the staff are very helpful and welcoming and I would recommend the castings for any year student, not just first years. :)

The castings is ace, lovely environment and you have nearly everything. The staff are amazing, and the only thing missing would be a gym.

Perfect accommodation for any student, not just first years, and the facilities are great. The staff are extremely upbeat and helpful and go way above what I expected when I first moved in. My only problem is with the pricing, which like any student halls is a bit over the top. However for the security of the place, it's well worth it.

Part way through my second year here and loving my home away from home! I'm loving the new facilities, and all the events and treats! Great place to live, conveniently close to uni, nice flats and really friendly staff!

Great place to live, communal areas and facilities are much better than any of the other acomadations I viewed or have been to since coming here and the flats are much nicer, staff are always available and can have a laugh will all of them, can't fault the place in any way!

Castings is a great place to live for all years with lovely ensuite bedrooms, 5 minutes walk away from the uni, the staff are very friendly and they hold exciting events each week for all the students to join in!

Castings house is in the perfect location. The university is literally 5 minutes away. There's a takeaway and shop across the road and also a cash machine. Supermarkets are a 10 minute walk, also popular fast food chains such as Subway and KFC are situated right beside. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean, if you ever have a maintenance problem it is dealt with quickly! The staff are very helpful and go the extra mile for the residents with themed days and nights such as 'free breakfast mornings.' There's a laundrette on site, common room where you can play on the Xbox one and watch tv, study area, a games room, and even a tv room! This is my second year living here and out of all the accommodations I've seen throughout Huddersfield and other City's this one has to be the best!

Castings house is in the best location surrounded by the best staff possible! There is always something going on and is defiantly the best place to live while at University.

Castings house has an amazing location and the view from the rooms are of the river and beautiful countryside! It Also has a shop + an atm right outside the building which is very convenient! Not to forget its only 5 min or less walk to uni.

Beautiful accommodation, staff are really welcoming and constantly put on events and as well as food available to take away in reception. Maintenance always around to help with any issues as well!

Its a great place - The only downside is how thin the walls are! You can hear literally everything! But the staff are fab and its close to uni so I can't really complain :)

All nice and new ensuite rooms, lots of little extras and close to uni. Very secure and staff are friendly. Maybe ask for a room not facing the courtyard for a better view and less noise!

Nice accommodation to live in, but the washing machines cost so much and I cannot take it all home with me because I live far away

Would rather be living in a retirement home, they wouldn't complain about how "loud" we are every night, you would have a much better experience at Storthes Hall in your first year of university, I don't recommend!
