Yesterday at The Lingfield Centre we were joined by Maulana Javvad Nasrullah (Nelson) and Dr. Sabeeta Farooqi as part of our Preparing for Ramadan Programme.
A fruitful event as there was near to 100 people who visited the Centre to listen to engaging speeches.
The dawah team would like to make a special thanks to Dr. Sabeeta and Maulana Javvad for taking their time to present how we should prepare for the blessed month.

UKIM *recognise* that debt increases *depression* , self-harm, and even *suicide* , sending the recipient into a spiral of insecurity whilst making them *subservient* to the lender.
UKIM believe that our fellow human beings, Muslim or *otherwise* in Britain are facing difficult times with all the funding cuts at every level and the *unprecedented* rise of Food Banks throughout Britain, this is causing major *mental* health trauma as well as depression.
Our primary focus will be single parents, who *struggle* to meet the needs of their young children, in some cases they are not even able to buy simple food for their family’s because they are trying to *maintain* the loans and bills on a daily basis.
