Went to the soul and mo-town night, the singer Zion was a brilliant entertainer, and we had a fantastic evening dancing the night away. All the staff were really friendly. My only recommendation would be a bigger dancefloor as so many people got up for a boogie. We would definitely go again. Coral.

We went there the other day as we have been before and the food was so nice and such a bargain that we had to come back. Friendly staff, great play areas for children, both indoor and outdoor. Great entertainment at night for the children and later for adults. Food served very quickly and nice and hot! Chef friendly and asked if we were happy with the food, which we were. Highly recommended and we will return.

Popped in for a 'quick' pint..... ended up staying for dinner, bingo, and pub quiz! We also phoned our friends to join us! We all had a fantastic night! The indoor play area for the kids was a great bonus: we could enjoy a drink, and chat, whilst they were entertained! Thank you!

Performed at Jake's with my band MAVMAC on Boxing Day night and had an absolutely awesome time! Great atmosphere and the bar girls, Danielle, Gemma, Georgia and Jade were superstars! Would highly recommend!

Me and my girlfriend had food and drinks in here really good standard of food and service. I had the burger and she had the salmon. Love the new decor inside and got a play area and arcade inside perfect for families and to watch the sports on the all the new screens!

It's my first time coming here. I'm staying at the (whitehouse leisure park) and came here for tea and then breakfast so far. It's lovely and clean and the food is absolutely gorgeous!! ­¤śŹ Staff were also nice. ­¤śŖ

He had a mixed grill an I had chicken burger with an extra portion of onion rings, an the food was lovely an quick an friendly service too. I'll definitely be back

Had a great May BH Saturday at Jakes, food was fantastic and I love those macaroni bites, plus the chips were just how I like them ’┐Į Staff were really friendly and the place was really clean so we will definitely be back xx

Food was on point. Slow cookd lamb was mouth watering. So we had to ask for more to bring home with us. Was that good. David the chef was soundest guy an done us a great deal on lamb to take home. Spot on full stars all round.

Can I just say what a wonderful time we had in Jakes this evening. Good food served hot and on time, great customer service. Nothing too much trouble, will definitely be eating here again, many thanks to Sarah, restaurant manager and her team ... Sandra and her family xx

Amazing place to make memories we a regular to jakes and love the place the staff a top notch my kids love them all the food is all reasonably priced and is mouth wateringly good!

its ok for the kids to play in food n drink over priced 3.50.for a pint of fosters.

The food and drink are overpriced. Twice I paid for full items to get half a portion. Tea and coffee only half a cup. You don't need to cheat your clients with these tactics. Plus is great for kids, staff pleasant but inefficient.

We were looking forward to coming to see the newly refurbished jakes but were very disappointed, tables and seats were dirty, food tasted like it was just reheated and portion sizes were very small. Doesn't have the feek of a restaurant. Would not come back.

Had Sunday lunch today. Vegetables undercooked (not a taste thing) Lamb had clearly been frozen prior to today's service and only lukewarm (I wasn't the only one in today to comment on that).

Having also sat and watched the two waitresses keep playing with their hair this also doesn't inspire me to want to eat here again.

Come on Jakes it's all simple things that I could sort in a week of running the place.
