Went to Jamie's at blue water today for a birthday lunch with my daughter, fabulous food as always from Jamie's restaurants, superb staff and service and a happy birthday complimentary brownie desert to share. Such a thoughtful gesture

Very impressed, the starters particularly were very nice. Food is flavoursome and good quality and the waitresses were all really friendly too. Will visit again

Staff very attentive. Table in the coolest part of the restaurant. Hubby’s pizza ripped when they got it out of the oven so gave him the one with a big hole in the middle whilst they cooked another 😊

I never review places online however I felt I couldn't have left it unsaid...it was the first time me and my husband have eaten here. We couldn't fault it. Waitress was fantastic, service was quick but not rushed, food was AMAZING, really good! We will definitely be back and very excited to bring our 2 children too, after seeing the options the children had to eat from a different table. Would thoroughly recommend. X

Friends and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch today with attentive staff and to be honest we could not find a fault other than .... I personally was so disappointed when I finished my bowl of salmon spaghetti as it was delicious

Will definitely be indulging at Jamie’s again very soon 10/10 x

First time we've been to one of Jamie's Italians! It was gorgeous, loved the relaxed atmosphere, staff were brilliant, didn't feel rushed at all and they weren't overbearing like in some places(constantly asking if everything is ok🙄). The food was incredible, best pasta we've had outside Italy and the steak was amazing! Will definitely be returning!

Amazing starter and meal and all at a reasonable price staff very polite and friendly. Atmosphere perfect!!

Very nice meal on Friday evening while we were shopping. I had the mushroom tagliatelle which was one of the specials. Slightly heavy on the chilli but still very tasty. Appreciated the class of Prosecco as a reward for being a gold card holder. The mince pie taster was also very good, not too sweet. Still the best coffee around, as close to the coffee they serve in Italy that I have tasted and Italians know how to make coffee. Great service and friendly staff. Thank you.

This was the first time we had visited and planned it as a family meal for my daughters birthday. The food was amazing totally up to expectations and more!!! The only reason I could not justify 5 stars was down to the staff sadly, there was a change over during our time there so we didn’t know who our waitress was at the end to pay, on asking the front of house person they did not seem to want to respond making us feel not valued customers. Also our bill was incorrect and if we hadn’t noticed we would have got charged more. This kind of spoilt a very pleasant meal.

Super non-alcoholic mojito's to kick things off, the "plank" antipasta starter (perhaps a little thin in content) and a great Porkie pizza (spot on!), washed down with a large Liberta (a perfect match) and chased by a very oozy molten praline pudding and a double Machiatto. My wife started with the crispy squid and similarly felt it could be considered on the small side. No complaints with the pasta main > very tasty sausage pappardelle. Jnr had the kiddies menu and lapped it up. £90 pre-tip makes it pricey, but good...

Nice atmosphere, attentive staff, good food, reasonably priced

Worst Jamie's Italian I've been too. Out with three friends and all our main courses had to go back due to them being cold and lack of filling in the pasta sauce...... 3 of us ordered the rabbit pasta. We were lucky to have two pieces of rabbit in each plate! However I must give credit to the manager , she dealt with it all quickly, with no fuss or drama. Her and her team are a credit to the restuarant.

This was our first visit to the restaurant after hearing so much about it. We went with our children. The food was enjoyable however the service was not very good. We then had to query our bill which we have never done in any restaurant before ! Upon inspection we had been charged an additional £14 for a bottle of wine. The manager apologied and blamed it on the till system - he could not wait to get rid of us after giving us our refund! It was very disappointing service . We could not believe this especially as we specifically showed the wine we wanted from the menu.

When I booked and asked for a table at the back of the restaurant due to my young sons sensory issues I was sure it wouldn’t be a problem. On arrival we were seated at very front, on benches where my son couldn’t cope. Meltdown began. Lasted 45 minutes. Was offered a table change - bit late when an autistic child is already in total collapse. Very upset and disappointed by a restaurant which prides itself in welcoming children. I hate leaving negative comments. But I have to this time.

We have always enjoyed eating at Jamie’s but our visit Saturday to the Blue Water restaurant was so incredibly disappointing I decided to leave some feed back in the hope that standards are improved. We both ordered Superfood salads mine was the kale version, which was literally all it was a massive amount of shredded kale and very little of anything else. I would have expected to have young tender kale but this definitely wasn’t that sadly and I probably had less than a 1/5 of an avocado and a literally a sprinkle of pomegranate and not enough pulses, which left it hard to eat as it was very dry and not very tasty. My husbands salad was also poor both were very poorly presented. The most disappointing was the £4 each we spent on a blood orange non alcoholic cocktail which was 80% ice over soda with lemon mint and I assume a splash of blood orange because I certainly couldn’t taste it. The people on the table next to us were complaining about poorly cooked prawns, we decided to vote with our feet and not return to the Bluewater restaurant which is sad as it was always our favourite previously. I must say I was surprised as we usually have to wait to be seated which I never mind for good food, but no cue this time which should have been a big give away as Wagamama had an huge cue & we went there later for dinner to make up for a poor lunch eaten at Jamie’s.

Visited Jamie’s Italian at Bluewater with my wife & 2 friends to enjoy a couple of drinks and possibly some food.

Was discussted with how we were treated when we said that we wanted to get some drinks from the bar.

We were ushered into a tiny corner with 4 small wooden stalls near the pizza oven, also in the corner was the baby high chairs we felt like scum being sent there as a group of 4 we couldn’t even enjoy our drinks because of how we were sitting. Staff were constantly back and forth as the main till was situated where we were sitting.

Jamie if this is how you treat people who just want to enjoy a nice drink and a chat you should not have a bar inside the restaurant you should also tell people if you want to sit at a table you must be ordering food.

I would love to hear Jamie Oliver’s comments on this as I’m sure he is not aware that management at the restaurant are treating guests in such a poor way.

Will probably not go back there again
