When I visited the hairbar Jodi was really welcoming and very helpful for someone who is so indecisive about what they should do with there hair! I left with a lovely colour with a smudge root so when my hair grows out it doesn't look as severe and I absolutely love it, will definitely be going back!

I’ve been getting my hair done here for about a year now. Always very happy when I leave! When Jodi asks what colour I want my hair I make it pretty difficult for her by making her choose but it’s always the perfect colour. I usually hate having my hair cut but Jodi cuts it exactly how I want it.

Had my make up done by Caris a couple of times and it has always been fab. Love coming to the hair bar for a pamper, especially before a night out!

I visited Hair Bar with my friend (a regular customer) to have my hair and make-up done on New Year’s Eve. I was so impressed that I had to write a review, everything about my experience was 5-star! The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly and welcoming - I had been feeling quite low over Christmas, but after spending just two hours in the salon I left feeling (and looking!) absolutely fantastic. Both Caris and Jodi are experts at what they do - my make-up was like a work of art, I had so many compliments! And my hair, which usually refuses to behave itself, Jodi managed to blow dry to perfection! I cannot recommend Hair Bar highly enough, I am seriously considering making it my regular salon even though I live an hour away - it’s worth the journey and certainly worth every penny! Thank you Jodi and Caris, you will be seeing me again x

I spent a Saturday with Jodi and Emma getting fully pampered! From the start Jodi so helpful explaining how she could lift my hair back to its natural colour (from a very dark/brassy brown to a light ash brown with highlights). She even included a pop of purple, which I absolutely love! I don't think I've ever felt so happy about how my hair has turned out. All of her products are 100% organic so my hair is still super healthy and shiny.



Emma also did an amazing job on my gel mani - she has sooo many colours to choose from. My Easter nails look perfect!



It was like spending a Saturday with your best mates. I will definitely be back again soon and cannot recommend Hair Bar enough!

After Jodi did my hair and bridesmaid’s hair for my wedding day there was only one place for me to come and get my hair cut. I have really curly hair which phases most hairdressers I go to and doesn’t fill me with much confidence; as a result I don’t get my hair cut that often. Before today the last cut I had was in June 2016 � However, Jodi is a breath of fresh, as well as being friendly, she is confident and more than competent with my complicated hair! Unfortunately had a pretty negative experience, My hair was not like what i'd asked for, I asked her not to cut it choppy or to far in because of my natural hair type (Welsh + Jewish = very thick and badly behaved!) and she did cut into it, and was way shorter at the back, and mainly at my fringe that i'd asked for. If certain styles can't be done, it should have been mentioned. I said to the stylist that I wasn't really happy and my fringe was cut way shorter than i'd asked, she got pretty aggressive with me, telling me 'Listen, you're not a hairdresser' (Which I never claimed I was....) and thats how it should be done, even though I thought the point being that the customer is happy with their hair?.... The whole situation turned around to me having to mediate it, which as a business owner is the complete wrong way round?...If a salon can't listen to their clients then i'd say they were in real trouble. And saying I wasn't happy with something should have been handled with professionalism and maturity. Not a hissy fit. And not a great start to a new year for me and my barnet.
