Our Saturday Music School Tech program is a cutting edge course, allowing students (13-18 years) to learn how to record in a music studio and use professional music software.

Does your child want to learn an intstrument but they're not sure which one?
Our SMS Target Open Day gives students (9-12 years) the chance to learn about new intstruments and experiment with their favourites!
They'll also take part in a fun music workshop with other young musicians and our friendly staff will show them around our exciting building.

Do you love music? Join us at Saturday Music School and fast track your music skills, meet other like-minded young musicians, work with professional musicians and take part in performance opportunities!
Our friendly open days give you the opportunity to see what it’s really like to play and study at Leeds College of Music. There will be a chance to play or sing and perform with other young musicians in an exciting workshop.
You will get a tour of Leeds College of Music and see Saturday Music School in action, even check out our state-of-the-art Mac Labs. Staff and students will be around to answer any questions!

This event looks fabulous! Hear the next generation of Lieder singers and pianists. Free for students. It is from 10:30AM-12:00PM, so just let us know if you want to be excused from SMS to attend.

Fantastic holiday course this week. Huge thanks to our amazing tutors Krish Thiruchelvam and Lee Smith, and of course the eight incredibly talented musicians who wrote their own songs, recorded them in the studio, and played a gig at the end of the week. Look out for the tracks next week.

We are looking for Junior LCoM champions. Just a small donation will be make a big difference to supporting talented young musicians. Our aim is that no one has to turn down a place to study at Junior LCoM due to the cost.

This is my son's first year at the Saturday Music School and he loves his time there. The musical standard is very high and it enables him to play and meet musicians that help him grow. There has been a lot of opportunity for him to perform live and develop his performance skills. He has also been lucky enough to connect with some of the senior musicians to help him learn so much more about being a musician.



The staff have an incredible depth of knowledge and experience - and always take impeccable care of the young musicians.

Junior LCoM has been absolutely fantastic this year. It is a great opportunity for young musicians to work with other young people with similar interests and the staff have been great in encouraging and developing the students. The atmosphere is very supportive, and my son has had the chance to take part in musical activities he could not do anywhere else. This was his first year and he will definitely be coming back!

I would recommend Junior LCoM to any young musicians.
