Artist Introduction.
Finally we conclude the intro's with last, but certainly not least Harry McCanna.
Harry McCanna has been working his way around the London scene, forming relationships with the crew at Half Baked and beyond. With the influence of London pub Lion & Lamb growing; McCanna is one of a few handpicked DJs pushing the venue’s sound forward championing stripped back grooves.
... McCanna is a classic example of London’s underground scene. He runs a label and event named Undersound, he’s one half of North-South Records and his mixing on the decks is tighter than most artist touring full time.
All the London heads know about McCanna but going to that next level takes time. With productions coming on Half Baked Records and Entity in 2018; this could be the year all that hard work pays off.
Playing at gigs across the globe in Italy, Romania, USA and, of course, many in the UK, he has continued to show promise as a DJ. Harry joined the Leftback family with a punchy, minimal roller, in collaboration with DTG.

Artist Introduction.
We continue our intro's with Birmingham's very own, Bunny.
Birmingham based producer and DJ Bunny may still be in his 20's but has been playing the clubs of the city for nearly 10 years. Bunny is Resident of the notorious after party Social Underground, Digbeth's most forward thinking day party PENDA and the regions biggest club - The Rainbow Venues.
... With a 1st class degree in Sound Engineering to help him, Bunny writes, producers, and engineers all his own music with a forever growing arsenal of outboard gear. Bunny has a stripped back house sound that is subtly influenced by is love of Hip Hop. 2017 has seen him release on vinyl only imprints Leftback, Volupso and Social Underground.
His remix of 'Archie Hamilton & Benson Herbert's ñ Systim' was recently picked by Archie Hamilton in the Metapop x Moscow records remix competition and will be released later on this year.

Secondly, of course, we must to talk about the other half and co-founder of Leftback records, Michael McLardy.
Following several years of DJing together and various collaborative productions Dudley Strangeways & Michael McLardy launched vinyl only label Leftback Records at the beginning of 2014.
... The label was initially created as an outlet for their own original and collaborative material. As the label has expanded a new wave of talented artists has been added including OCH, David Gtronic & Randall M, Matt Star, CNTRL, TIJN, Matthew Burton and Kashwar to name a few. The label continues to grown focusing not only on established talent, but also up and coming artists with the introduction of the “Internal connection” series. The pair appear regularly in and around Europe playing 3 decks B2B sets of stripped back grooves with sets on Boiler Room in Mexico for Cominite festival to Frankfurt and Berlin. ​ Together and independently they have released records via labels such as Ovum, Highway, Little Helpers, Black Key being supported by some of the biggest names in the industry.

Firstly we begin with Dudley Strangeways.
Dudley has built on the string of residencies across the Midlands and London after consolidating his reputation as a resident of the notorious Back To The Future parties. Skills honed warming up for the likes of Terry Francis, Phil Weeks, Eddie Richards and Brett Johnson have now opened the door to the international circuit with gigs in Mexico for Comunite festival appearing on Boiler Room and clubs such as the W...eekend club, Golden Gate & Griessmuehle in Berlin. ​ As much at home in the studio as in front of a pair of turntables, Dudley has released a steady string of music both individually and collaboratively with Leftback label partner Michael McLardy, With appearances on Leftback, Ovum, Little Helpers, Kina music, Vekton Black, Stardub & Made of Concrete. 2017 is also set to be a promising year with releases confirmed on Pleasure Zone, New Berlin based label “Chord Records” including a remix for Jay Shepheard and a collaborative EP with David Gtronic on Leftback..

Part of our policy here at Kai·zen is to only allocate a limited amount of tickets and ONE set price. We do this to ensure we never over fill our venue's and also to not trick the people, that make the party, into paying over the odds.
