Kamma - The Buddhist "Karma", in ancient Sanskrit literally means "action". Massage was once believed to be a luxury, however in modern society the benefits of massage are becoming widely understood to have an invaluable wealth of benefits for the mind, body and soul. Taking action to seek health, is the first step to recovery.
Holistic - The belief that the parts of something are intimately interconnected and explicable only by reference to the whole. In this sense Ella treats all her clients holistically, taking into account mental and social factors, rather than just the symptoms of a dis-ease.
With a degree in Social Sciences from Durham University, Ella has always had a keen interest in the sociology of health, understanding that there is a broad spectrum of accountability in the development of disease. This lead her to empathise with a holistic perception of well-being and begin a career using a broad spectrum of alternative skills to help others on their quest to health. This begins with Massage and Reiki.
Ella is committed to continued learning, she has advanced knowledge not only in massage but anatomy and physiology, she is attuned to Reiki and has qualifications in pregnancy and postnatal massage.
Ella is based in West Norwood, offering treatments from her home, or mobile therapy sessions if you find it hard to travel.
