We had a night in Halifax and wanted somewhere different to Nando's or frankie and Bennies chain food.

A quick look on TripAdvisor shown up Kamran Balti House.

Do not be put off by the outside, go in up the stairs.

On seating poppadoms and dips are brought to the table.

We ordered a couple of starters each just to try different food, they were fantastic.

The mains turned up and were really good.

All in it cost us £20 PP with a pint of Kobra.

The staff are really good and will recommend you a dish if you are unsure or want to try something for a change.

Bargain! If you like a curry? You won't be disappointed.

We dined on new year's Eve as a party of 7 with family. Food and service was excellent. The food was fresh, tasty and delicious! Table was nicely laid and great atmosphere. Lovely staff. We were amazed when we got the bill - excellent value for money. Definitely worth a visit - take out or eat in. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a great night x

On an away game with maidstone at Halifax, when I came across this little gem. Food and staff were excellent! Loads of food for your money, I would recommend to anyone visiting the town. Thanks guys, see you next year.

Excellent food and wonderful staff. As a family we've been coming to Kamran for years and we've never had a bad curry. Great value for money and a real personal touch. I lived in New Zealand for a year and when I got back the first meal I wanted was from Kamran.

Came tonight for the Tawa, shared between 3 of us, it was beautiful! We were full to the brim and had to take the rest home! Lovely food! And great service! Xx

Best curry house in Halifax, alway lovely food at a great price. They go out of their way to accommodate your requirements, my favourite ...... salad with coriander instead of rice, yummy.

Beautiful food and the best peshwari naan I've ever had!

Absolutely fantastic, starters were great and the main course was quality! Chicken Tikka Karahi was cooked with just the right amount of spices and the amount of chicken was enough for two, well done!!!

Would rate 0 stars if I could, normally enjoy ordering from here but tonight has been shitty. Sent the wrong rice out, curry looks so dry, hardly an sauce to it just meat. When phoned up o explain I got shitty attitude, said they would send more rice and will be 5 minutes, that was 20 minutes ago, rest of food is now cold. Absolute wank �

Went to the restaurant the food was cold fish was dry no flavour in the curry really bland and cold left the food in the end what a waist of money! Guess the chef has changed as we used to go regular! And used to be good

Never will I eat from here again, I have never left a review for anyone before but this had to be done!! It came and it was cold I had to microwave , the chips was rewarms, the curries was bland no flavour not much sauce! The rice was even awful! The mango chutney gross, need I go on?? This has to be the worst meal of my life actually!!! I am not a fussy eater at all either but this was disgusting!!!

Just been and to be honest never again I’m actually looking forward to eating cardboard. Lovely service but foods terrible.

If I could give it 0 stars I would! Hair in my food and terrible customer service over the phone. Ordered and paid for online. Requested refund of the one dish, not even the whole meal and kept referring me back to just eat. Offered replacement meal, why so I can have more hair in my food? If I had paid cash would this just have been given back? Because if so then you should have just done that anyway!!

Terrible.

I'll never order a take away from here again nearly 2hrs to arrive and cold the pizza was all soggy and the cheese on it tasted like lard,needless to say it all went in the bin ,so disgusted after reading all the supposedly good reviews
