Good evening ladies and gents, just a little update from me. I am staying at home for this Wonder Woman here, my momma is working in the LGI. I’m currently home schooling my two delightful children, we are very excited for the school holidays so my brain can have a rest 😂 in all seriousness this is just to update you all the salon is still closed as I’m sure most of you will be aware. I’ve tried to contact as many people as possible but if you could all just let me know on this post that you have seen it then I won’t keep pestering you all. Hope you’re all staying safe. Xx

As everyone will know Polished HQ has temporarily closed its doors to assist with the governments advice with regards to socially distancing ourselves to prevent the spread of this virus. As much as I would love to oblige the health and well-being of my family and yours is paramount in this situation. Polished HQ is my permanent place of work and with the doors closing for now so does my ability to offer any mobile service as it is just not safe to do so. It hasn’t been a dec...ision I’ve made lightly being self employed means it has a huge effect on my family too as both me and ryan are in the same boat unfortunately. As you all know Maureen works for the nhs so I’ve had this drilled into me how seriously this needs to be taken. I hope everyone understands the choices we’ve made and I’m sure we’ll be back up and running very soon. I promise to keep all my wonderful clients updated, please bare with me I’ll be messaging all clients that have an appointment within the next 2 weeks. I’ve had a couple of cancellations this week if anyone from next week would like to push their appointments forward to this week, I’ll try my best to work around everyone as we don’t know what’s going to happen over the next couple of weeks, I know this isn’t easy but we asking all clients to come on there own to reduce risk of spreading any infection and to please wash their hands on arrival also goes without saying if you are unwell please cancel your appointment please ring the salon to see available times xx

Good evening ladies, a few cancellations have started coming in now due to corona virus. Completely understandable and we certainly don’t want it if possible so thank you for that. Please let us know ASAP if you are feeling uncomfortable about coming in, even if you don’t have the symptoms. I appreciate having watched the news you may not feel hair/ beauty is a priority but please let us know as soon as possible. Me and the girls at Polished HQ are doing all we can to keep the salon as hygienic as possible, we are a small business and in these times every little helps, I totally get these are strange times but we rely on your business to keep us going till we are told to close otherwise. Important notice
We politely request all clients wash their hands when entering the salon premises due to the out break of corona virus. If you cough or sneeze please do so into a tissue and wash/ sanitise your hands afterwards. Please cancel your appointment if you have any cold/ flu or other respiratory illness. It goes without saying, if you have been to any of the areas with the largest outbreak of corona virus to please wait two weeks from your return to come into the salon. We are a small business, we have to think of the health and well-being of ourselves and other clients.

Good evening ladies, I know a couple of people are panicked that Elliott was skiing the other week in Italy. Just to reassure you all Elliott wasn’t even in the effected area, he’s cycled to school every day, been on punch bag every evening thinking he’s AJ, fit as a fiddle. I wouldn’t risk passing anything on to clients, I’ve worked with Chloe all week knowing she was spending time with her step mum this weekend who has a serious illness, I just would not do that. Me and chloe are self employed so the implications of corona virus coming into salon would be really serious. Rest assured though so far so good. Thank you x

£5 blow dry with Aimee this Saturday 9am

Ladies on Friday the 20th of March Aimees partial highlight slot has now been taken! This therefore has freed up a slot for a blowdry at 11am , please call the salon if you are interested! Xx

Aimee Rodley requires models on the following dates and times Friday 17th April: 9.45am half head highlights and blowdry £10 Friday 22nd May: 9.45am all over semi permanent colour and blowdry£7 11am Long curly blowdry Friday 19th June hairstyling day this will be a day of training pin ups and hairstyling ... 9.30 am 10.30am 11.30am 12.30pm 1.30pm
Amiee’s training days are precious as we have a time scale to work within, so if you do volunteer it is important to not let us down or cancel last minute. In order to train Aimee I also mark a full day out of my own column, so when it comes to it if we end up having no models in it is a waste of both of our time. Please don’t be offended if you do ever volunteer and we can’t use you for a model, as we need specific requirements for each part of the training. The reason there is a cost is to cover the products used. We are not charging for Aimees time which is why it will still seem cheap, when I feel Aimee is ready we will post her very own price list. On the training days with me I am teaching Aimee new techniques so the blow dries are free. When Aimee is doing her £5 blow dries that is because I know she can do it to the best of her ability and I am confident her doing it without my supervision; these appointments are available every Friday from 2pm or chloe will post on the polished HQ page any other availability. We are working together to build Aimee, so not that any of you ever would any negativity could really set her back, fortunately for us she’s the absolute bees knees but it is important to remember she is just 16 and still learning! As of July we will be starting cutting training. I will post times and hair types for this nearer the time.
Please ring the salon if you want to volunteer and if i can speak with you, I will check your hair type is suitable for what is required.
