... Looking for a model and designers who would be interesting in collaborating on a showcase event for my final university assessment of this year. The showcase will take place in Leeds during the week of 13th May. Full location and exact date/time to follow.
I will be creating a look and set inspired by Miss Havisham of Great Expectations. After being left at the alter, Miss Haversham was heart broken; remaining forever in her decaying mansion, never removing her wedding dress and stopping all the clocks at the exact time she was betrayed.
I will be working on an editorial take of this character and building a set to match.
I am looking for a female model who is happy to have full hair (possibly wig work) and makeup done, and will be comfortable staying in character for a few hours. Preferably slim, aged 18 - 30, with pale skin, minimal tattoos. I am also looking for any designers who may wish to collaborate. I will also be arranging for a photographer to attend so we have some official images from the event. This is a ticketed event and there will also be industry professionals in attendance.

A collection of work from my Level 5 practical exams.

IS ALL ART RECYCLED?
Absolutely over the moon at how my assessment piece turned out! The brief of this project was to create a full body paint design based around a chosen artist/sculptor. I chose Jackson Pollock and street artist Dain as my artist inspiration with the amazing Alix Dent - Model as my model. Application took place at Prime Studios. For the concept, I wanted to look at originality in art and whether modern art is simply a reinterpretation of what has already be...en created.
I used Mehron United Kingdom Paradise AQ body paints with Fuller's Earth for texture. The head piece was created by melting down and painting plastic bottles to tie in with the 'recycled' theme.

First image back from yesterday's shoot with the awesome Murat Ozkasim and the gorgeous Bronx Mariachi 🔥🔥🔥 For this shoot I wanted to strip back the beauty and dirty down the look, adding sweat and bruising... Makeup doesn't always have to be pretty to be gorgeous!

As some of you know, I'll be working down in London during fashion week and so I've decided to offer some reduced rates for work up until then to help me raise funds for my travel/accommodation! So from now until the 15th of Feb I will be offering creative work at the reduced rate of £40/half day and £80/full day! 🙌🙌🙌 I have limited dates available so please get in touch asap if you want me! 😘😘
