Kids Academy West Park

Kids Academy is an OFSTED registered private childcare day nursery.

Kids Academy nursery is graduate led with a highly qualified, dedicated workforce. The nursery is all on ground level and is divided into 3 children’s rooms, with age appropriate resources and activities. Our full time cook prepares fresh meals daily and we pride ourselves on a well balanced nutritious menu. Our Hygiene star rating as awarded by Leeds City Council is 5 stars.

Located at the front of the building is our main outdoor play area which is a never ending source of fun for our children. There is large fixed wooden play equipment which provides ample opportunities for children to exercise and gain confidence in their abilities. Other resources are added to enhance play. The under two’s outdoor area situated at the rear, is an ever changing space that encourages children to enjoy outdoor activities.

Our activities both indoors and out are varied and aim to provide children with the skills they need to develop and grow. We have a key worker system so that each child and their family have a first point of contact. This works well for care and information sharing. An individual profile is compiled for each child and is a record of their progress throughout their time with us.

Throughout the year we invite parents to various events such as parents evening, stay & play, reading week and other fun days. This enables us to work together with families so that we can have a more positive impact on children’s development and learning.

The nursery works with outside agencies, local schools and children’s centres in order to forge relationships and enhance our contribution to our families and the community.
