Roof build, structural alterations, boiler move and first fix plumbing done at sandal.

Set out, joisted, concrete slab to the store done, and ready to start bringing the walls up next week at horbury.

Waiting on steels, which arrived today at sandal. Can get cracked on with the rear roof now, and start on the internal wall removals. Upstairs knocked through, and stud work removed to open up two rooms in to one master bedroom with ensuite.

Foundations dug and poured, and drainage brought in on this new job at Horbury. Two storey side extension 👌🏻

Good 4 days at sandal , before wrapping up for the bank holiday weekend. Up to wall plate, ready for roof construction Wednesday, scaffold getting lifted Tuesday, which will see the masonry works finished to the side extension.

Revisited an extension we did at sandal last year, to cut out the kitchen window and install new French doors with side panels. Instantly flooded the kitchen area with light. 👌🏻

Great week at sandal this week. Walling going up nicely, scaffold up, loaded out, first floor joists in, weather decked, beam filled, and blockwork coming up.

Drainage brought in, oversite down, floor joists in, and some walling brought round this week. A steady one, with a slight delay on the bricks, but we should be away next week now 👌🏻👌🏻

Out of the ground at sandal. Deep, awkward dig, full of bricks, concrete, and everything else. Drainage works adapted, and to finish off next week, and prepping for the garage slab, oversite, and floor joists. Bricks due mid week!

Walk around the ground floor extension 👌🏻💪🏻

Flagging brought in this week, and second fix electrics and plumbing done to the ground floor. Looking absolutely fantastic. Finished photos to the internals to follow once flooring and kitchen install has taken place. What a job this has been, and the end result is stunning. 👌🏻

Made a start on our new project this week at sandal. Demolished an existing garage attached to next doors, to be made good, relocated fencing to close up where the garage was, and make secure, hydraulic breaker to break up the slab, and made a start digging to the rear foundation. Scaffold up to demolish first floor side brickwork, to clean off and re-use on the front elevation. The lads have battled against the weather this week, but made great progress.

Cracking week this week at Ossett. P.Wilson Plasterer turning out some flawless plastering to the ground floor. Ensuite upstairs all done, ready for flooring and skirting to finish. Externally, levels built up and whacked inbetween the rain these last few days. Almost put this one to bed now. #yourlocalbuilder

Last wall knocked out downstairs and steel support added. Floor joists insulated with 100mm pir, as well as the vaulted ceiling, with the 100mm between the timbers, then 50mm over the lot, and boarded. Floor boards down, and window cills in. Upstairs second fix joinery complete, radiators on, shower tray and wc installed, ready for tiling to the shower area,new unvented hot water cylinder installed, and second fix electrics complete. Outside, retaining wall topped off in indian stone which will match the patio and pathway around, and new drainage and gulleys installed for the fall pipes to run in to. Almost there now. Plasterers in next week to the ground floor, and hopefully get on with the patio weather permitting. 👌🏻

Great week in Ossett again this week. Plastering complete to the first floor extension, and a start made on the downstairs covering existing artex ceilings. Glass swapped to frosted to the new ensuite. First fix plumbing and electrics done to the ground floor extension, existing corner of the house removed and steels in, opening up the new room, French doors in, and retaining wall facework finished.
