We have just visited this cosy little cottage that is very lovingly decorated. The welcome tray with gorgeous homemade goodies was wonderful after our drive and the dog towels and treats were a great touch too. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need and there was even milk in the fridge!! Our three dogs made them selves right at home and we all had a great time. Local amenities are not far and none of the lake district attractions are further than an hours drive. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing break. Thank you Howard and Jen

Very welcoming and cosy cottage at the right distance from everything. Far enough from traffic and noise and close enough to all the amenities and beautiful sites in the district. We stayed with our 3 month old daughter and our two dogs and it was just perfect. Our hosts provided us with everything we needed; from the butter to the doggy treats and towels. This is without mentioning the personalised welcoming basket that was waiting for us with fresh goodies, which allowed us to stay in and not have to run to get anything till the next day after breakfast. In short, a perfect little getaway for us! Thank you for having us xxx
