Would just like to say thank you to Matthew the manager today, while training a new guy he noticed we looked like we didn't have a clue (we didn't!) what we wanted. He took the time to go through exactly what we needed for our lawn and for the best results! Thank you!

Whilst the plants can be a little expensive, the cafe is fantastic value and the food always a treat. All in all a fantastic place to spend a gloomy afternoon enjoying good food and the added benefit of smartening yo your garden, lots of good ideas for the garden too.

Very large car park and disabled parking also they are wheelchairs to use too very large toilet for the disabled to use friendly staff and the food in the cafe is brilliant and not too expensive

My first visit yesterday, what an amazing place! Gorgeous food & cake, super gift shop & lovely friendly staff. Can’t wait to visit again!

Lovely place and lovely staff especially Santa � and his elves!! I brought my 2 year old little boy to visit Santa as he'd been poorly and missed a visit to see Santa elsewhere so we wanted somewhere local to take him we booked his time slot and had a look around the centre while we were waiting Santa was walking round chatting to the children we went to the grotto the elves were so lovely and friendly Santa was amazing he really made a massive effort it was truly appreciated he was so lovely we'll definitely be back next year , we visited the cafe also afterwards the food was lovely and very reasonably priced we would highly recommend Langlands xx

Excellent food..prompt service. Very helpful staff in the cafe. Great range of plants..and an aquatic section! Will be back.

Called in on Good Friday and popped in to the cafe to see the new menu. AMAZING! Had the Wild Board burger and it was outstanding. Didn't need anything else to eat for the rest of the day!



This place is now on my list for food, never mind for the plants!

Been a few times the girls in cafe are friendly and chatty can not seem to do enough for you foods always been spot on no complaints from us :-)

Absolutely love this Garden centre, we regularly have a walk here as we only live in Scholes,the staff are very friendly and the food is excellent my only gripe is that the chunky homemade chips have been replaced with thin oven chips� Please bring back the chunky chips! �

loved the garden centre even though expensive ...friendly and helpful staff who help with what we were looking for ..beautifully arranged outdoor plants and garden building section .. Cafe for a cake and coffee was the usual £5 going rate ..sunday lunch £9.99 not sure if this is good value .. but overall would return for another visit

Usually very good but yesterday the service in the cafe was poor, totally ignored for 4 minutes then served by someone chewing, (the lady behind me was given priority, she knew someone there). Waited 25 minutes for our food by which time our drinks had gone cold. Having said that the food was very nice .We usually visit the other centre at Shiptonthorpe, the staff at Leeds could do with some training by the staff from there.

Going back for a proper look as we only called in for lunch! Great food but service slow. I was told that there was a shortage of staff in kitchen. Salmon and broccoli quiche was delicious.

Less garden centre & more expensive household stuff. Cafè was ok but nothing special & expensive for what you get with quite slow service, even when not really busy.

After a disaster with the cafe 2 years ago where we were waiting for our meal for over 1/2 hour and then to be told they'd sold out of the product with no alternative offered. Complaints to Langlands fell on deaf ears and above all we got charged for the coffees we drank whilst waiting . I'm now pleased to say the service is still as aweful with staff from the cafe sat eating lunch at 1pm with the cafe at its busiest. It only took 25 minutes this time and we got what we ordered so some improvement there. Another 2 years we might just go back

Over priced plants and poor selection of roses which we had come for.

I also was looking for some house plants and again virtually nothing there other than a few broken cacti.

The chap on the till is a miserable sod.

Normally good. But I went on Sunday and my sister and I ordered scampi. I was disappointed when I only had 6 pieces of scampi, but my sister only got 5! When I queried this the staff didn't seem to care. I asked if this was a normal portion (knowing from previous experience it wasn't ). Eventually one staff member said it was normally 8 or 9, but offered no explanation or apology. Very poor Langlands!

My sister has been looking to change career and applied to Langlands Whinmoor for a job weeks ago - hasn't had no reply or acknowledgement

whatsoever� poor customer service!!
