Wow! Absolutely amazing first visit today. Exceptionally warm and welcoming staff and a very tempting menu. The Cajun beef! Wow again! So tasty and fresh. Can not wait to visit again soon and try out much more of the menu.

Went in for the first time yesterday, staff were really friendly, food was lovely, had something from the menu, asked for a slight change which was no problem at all. Pretty decor, lots of time and effort has gone into doing the space up. Looking forward to going again!

We popped in to the Larder Delicatessen this morning for our breakfast. It was absolutely delicious. We had Rosti and Egg stacks with cured bacon and coffees - my flat white was perfect. We will definitely be coming back and bringing friends and family. Recommend 100%

We called in this lunchtime to see Lisa, Simon and team after a walk along the canal. We received a very warm welcome infused with a bit of cheeky banter, as we perused the menu. We decided on a plough mans platter and smoked salmon, crayfish and prawn salad to share. Both were very nicely presented and tasted amazing. The pork pie, cheeses, crackers, piccalilli, seafood....everything was sooo tasty. My hubby enjoyed the coffee so much, he ordered a second! We also had the good fortune to be offered some eel to try...delish...who knew!

The deli has a nice ambience and is tastefully decorated.

Thanks guys for a lovely dining experience, we'll definitely be back as there's so much more we'd like to try and can highly recommend it.

The perfect place for Sunday Brunch. Gorgeous food, lovely coffee, friendly service and super welcoming. The warm welcome also extended to our pooches who were spoilt with a cheeky sausage �. Loved our first visit. Xx

The Larder hosted my nanna's 90th birthday last Saturday and helped to make it the perfect evening for her. We had a buffet and all of the food was lovely, we were even able to take leftovers away with us afterwards. Everyone at The Larder went out of their way for us and their efforts were appreciated by us all. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to host a private event. Thanks again!

Often call in for a sandwich or cake because it’s always amazing, the service is warm and welcoming, perfect. Definitely recommend!

My wife and I have now become regulars and have to say the food is outstanding ‘We have now tried several different dishes and never been disappointed . Would thoroughly recommend Ceaser Salad and there Meat and Cheese board is not only georgous but great value for money . I read one of the reviews that was for only one star which I have to say is unfair as it related to a customer who was looking to sit for a couple of hours ‘ This is a local small cafe supplying an excellent service to local people faced with competition from big chains and for us to have these sort of cafes locally then it isn’t a crime to try and ensure they have trade and with respect not expect people to sit at a table for a couple of hours. Personally speaking we have always been greeted with a smile ,given good service and have never felt rushed out of the door ‘Thank You to the people who work in the cafe for being good at what you do and more importantly serving great food at affordable prices

Lovely place for a chilled lunch with friends. I had a lovely halloumi salad, generous portions, lovely dressing with it. We couldn't resist the cakes either, great selection. Highly recommended.

Just had the most amazing salad here with chicken, chorizo and grilled halloumi...so tasty! What a great menu too! It was difficult to choose so we will have to come back! Beautiful coffee and although I didn't have any, the selection of cakes was amazing too! Lovely, friendly service too ���

Fantastic food, warm and cosy atmosphere, cheerful and lovely staff, a great space to eat good food, drink good coffee and just be. The champion on the menu for me is the poached eggs with feta, but there really is something for all palates xx

Called for a quick coffee stop to warm up whilst out cycling. Staff were really friendly and welcoming and have got to say it was the best Latte I've had!! Will be calling again.

Been today for the first time under new ownership. Decor is lovely, atmosphere very friendly. Cakes looked amazing and all home baked. Will definitely be visiting again �

Been in a few times now, and every time it’s been lovely. They are always very friendly and welcoming as soon as you walk through the door, very accommodating too.



I tend to stick to plain and simple breakfast butties but it looks like they offer a great selection for the slightly more adventurous people about. Not to mention them delicious cakes on the top that keep looking at me !

Absolutely fantastic! I’ve been a few times and the food, drinks and service have always been perfect. It’s super stylish and classy and just a nice place to be!

I went today with my husband, 3 month old baby and Labrador and we were made to feel so welcome. This isn’t always the case at some places when with a baby AND a dog but Lisa and the team welcomed us and just completely put us at ease. Lisa fussed our dog and also held our little boy so we could eat our delicious breakfast. We can’t thank you enough and as new parents, it really means a lot, thank you.

A lovely quaint deli in the heart of Sowerby Bridge. From the the moment you step in welcomed by friendly staff and presented with a scrumptious menu, which lived up to its expectations. Not only perfectly presented but the quality of product on each dish coming out was second to none. Ticked all the right boxes. Bravo.
