Elaine is known to many as the first ever registered lady farrier and she will be greatly missed by her Pony Club family.

Cross country and show jumping clinics with World Champion Event Rider Rosalind Canter.
... This is a very rare and exciting opportunity for riders & horses to enjoy a jumping clinic with the world's no 1, Horse & Hound Professional Rider 2018 and also the lady who lead Great Britain to a gold medal.
The clinics are for horses and riders capable of jumping 70 cm and above.
Being organised by Mike Cairns (BHS Accredited Coach & Show jumping coach) and myself on behalf of York Riding Club, Follifoot Riding Centre, Harrogate and Ledston Equestrian Centre.
The days will consist of 3 riders in each hourly session jumping the same heights. The arena will consist of show jumps and portable cross country fences supplied by the venues and Ros Canter.
Places are limited and can only be confirmed when full payment and a booking form have been received.
Dates & venues are as follows:
York Riding Club, The club field, Corban Lane, Wigginton, York, YO32 2RE Tues 19th March 9 am - 5 pm
Follifoot Riding Centre, Harrogate Wednesday 20th March 9 am - 5 pm
Ledston Equestrian Centre, Ledston Thursday 21st March 9 am - 5 pm
£55 per person.
To attend the York Riding Club event, members £50, non members £55.

Went today for the clear round Show jumping. It was very relaxed and the lady running it was fab putting fences up or down as you wanted. She was really encouraging offering advice. I felt so relaxed I jumped my first course of 1.05 m!! Will be back.

We had a brilliant day show jumping yesterday - first time we've been to Ledston, lovely indoor arena! Very friendly show with a great, relaxed atmosphere.

Very welcoming , helpful & caring especially for novice rider . Made me feel more at ease & reassuring . I will for sure be coming back . Thank you x

Love Ledston, staff always very helpful. go most Thursdays to practice carriage driving in their fab indoor arena. Lovely place in a beautiful setting with friendly helpful staff.

It was my first time show jumping here today had a great time staff realy helpful and the judge gave me some realy helpful tips and the other people jumping she gave lovely comments at the end of there rounds and not forgetting the burger van with there lovely food and hot chocolate keeping us warm�will see you on the 3rd December Xx

I did the dressage today, my first time at ledston, what a lovely place! And the people were so helpful and friendly. Will definitely be going back! Xx

Had a fab day. The first time my daughter has attempted this and she thoroughly enjoyed it ( even if she thought some of the fences were a bit scarey ! )

Great staff. Very knowledgeable and friendly. The postcode in Google maps gets you to the car park.

Great place to come for both show jumping and dressage if you have a novice or nervous horse and are wanting to have a go and get them used to it, the staff are really understanding and helpful and there is no pressure. Also I went to the clear round showjumping, got there a bit early and the lady running the event gave me pointers on how to approach the jumps with the fillers and let me have a few goes around the course before my round. She was extremely helpful and we wouldn't have gotten a clear round if it wasn't for her advice. The atmosphere is great and the times I have been other people competing have been really friendly as well.

First visit today for unaffiliated show jumping and we loved it. Well run and friendly. The judge was so encouraging. We took a youngster for only his 3rd time round a competitive course and there were lots of fillers for him to see - a great learning experience. Great parking, photographs and food. Also so easy to get to off the A1 Thank you! X

First time to a Dressage comp at Ledston today and I had a great afternoon. Fantastic venue and very well run. Looking forward to seeing my sheet when I collect it :-) thank you
