Are you at a loss for something worthwhile to do this weekend. Come and volunteer at Holbeck Cemetery. We meet at 10am in the cemetery and will be tidying paths and other maintenance to improve the site.
Everything supplied including refreshments. Children under 16 to bring along an adult to help too. Wear old clothes and sturdy shoes and boots. I look forward to meeting you and getting stuck in.

The volunteers from Leeds Building Society together with the Leeds Cemetery Volunteers repaired the dry stone walls at Yeadon Cemetery. They did a great job and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Thank you for such a great job. Ranger Heather

On the hottest day of the week the employees of Hentons and member of WRAG (Woodhouse Ridge Action Group) turned out and volunteered their time at Woodhouse Ridge, They painted the fence and put a new piece in to stop quad bikes from driving onto the land. They also repaired some steps and tidied the edge of the meadow. Thanks to all who came and the hard work you put in.

This afternoon more pupils from Prince Henry's Grammar school in Otley as part of a wider activity came to help in Otley cemetery. They cleared moss and standing water around the Chapel. Tidied the paths and vegetation and removed ivy from gravestones. Great working with such an enthusiastic team.

This morning pupils from Prince Henry's Grammar school in Otley, as part of a wider activity, helped expose graves lost to ivy and widen and tidy an overgrown path in Otley cemetery and discovered a large spider, which they returned home. Great work.
